Overall, pretty good! This gave me mom and pop restaurant vibes; the sushi chef was so proud of her work, she asked the waiter to take a video & photo of her holding the boat. They also gave us a free appetizer due to it taking a while to make the sushi boat, which we really appreciated. The service was great too. The only thing that I was disappointed in was that their menu doesn’t have any sashimi/nigiri options. The only nigiri options I saw came with the boat.

This was my very first time trying out Sushico and it definitely won’t be my last. Everything was fresh from the drinks to our appetizer even our main course. I was disappointed I wasn’t able to finish my food, but I definitely left full. I love how our waitress was super sweet and attentive to us. My cousin and I found a really good eating location in Longview. I can’t wait to come back to bring my daughters. This was my first and definitely not my last visit here. During my first layover here in GGG (Longview, TX) I decided to browse the area of restraunts through Google. I am so glad I came across Sushico. There was nothing I didn’t like. From the affordable prices to the quality of the ingredients and food, to the flavor, the colors of the fresh ingredients and beautiful artistic presentation when brought to the table not to forget the welcoming atmosphere, mellow music and great customer service. Everything was above satisfactory and I look forward to many more layovers where I will be sure to visit Sushico and try more of the items on the menu. While being welcomed in and sat down, a bowl of hot hibachi style soup was dropped off while I browsed the menu. For my appetizer I ordered the crab angels (similar to crab rangoon), a couple sushi rolls to include the veggie roll (which was absolutely delicious), the caterpillar roll, w/ 2 piece tamago nigiri (sweet rolled egg omelet) and for my entrée the asian panang curry. Again there was nothing I didn’t like. Everything was amazing. Only suggestion (not a complaint) is the curry should include potatoes and carrots to give the dish that substance it’s lacking. Such a beautiful little place! It wasn’t very busy, my hostess brought me a delightfully welcoming bowl of broth with the menu, very warming and flavorful. I ordered the “crab angels”, other places call them Rangoon, but these were bursting with cream cheese and crab filling. I didn’t get sushi, i was in a noodle mood, but the sushi i saw come to other tables was gorgeous.
So on to what I got, the rice noodles with veggies. Comfort food at its best! My hostess was very sweet, attentive, and made me feel very welcome. I will definitely be back, highly recommend!

The food was overall good. The steak in my Asian noodles was overcooked and chewy, but the flavor and spices were really good. The people were really nice but a little bit slow on the service. The sushi rolls were different and there were not many fish options, but I tried a flaming roll that had chicken and steak that was really good. I will definitely be back to try some of the other dishes and rolls that sounded good.

We really enjoyed the food. Reminds us of a restaurant in Houston that we love. The Indonesian dishes in particular are flavorful and fresh. Longview needs more proprietorships. They can’t survive if we don’t support them. Give this place a try. It’s delicious!

Found a brand new sushi restaurant. Sushi was excellent. Great flavor for every roll. They even packaged the leftovers nice and neatly. Will definitely be back to try other rolls and noodles.
