Sushi Bachi is a cozy, fun, and friendly atmosphere where friends and families can come for some great Japanese comfort food. Sushi is a Japanese dish of prepared vinegared rice. We use vinegared rice to make the classic and our own Signature rolls. Each roll is made to order and is always fresh. Hibachi means “fire Bowl”. Hibachi dish is served with fried or steamed rice, a bed of sauteed vegetables topped with your choice of Certified Angus Beef, shrimp, or chicken. Removing the “show” but keeping the integrity and proper cooking techniques, we are able to “speed up” the cooking process, ultimately lowering the cost. Great tasting Hibachi and friendly sauce service! For what you might pay double for at another restaurant, you’ll be able to have lunch or dinner for a much better price.

The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, everyone is so nice, and the food was absolutely delicious. We had the Crunch Roll, Shaggy Dog Roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, and Steak Hibachi with fried rice and extra egg—every bite was excellent.

Never knew this place existed until tonight and I drive up and down Josey all the time. Food was very good and price matches well to the serving size. We (wife and I) ordered 3 different rolls and all were delicious. Need to try their Bento Boxes next time.

Bland American food cooked in soy sauce and served in plastic bowls and trays.
Most Americans don’t realize how low quality the food is compared to an actual Japanese or really any Asian restaurant that uses spices and herbs for flavor.
No real fish on the roll, only ground up mush of mystery fish for the tuna and fake everything else. Left still hungry as the portions were minimal.
Sticky floor, poor seating and the fact they cannot even spell Japan correctly tells you everything you need to know.
$50 of disappointment. 🙁

Anyone who follows me knows I am a bit of a hard critic because I like to keep things concise and honest. This place is an absolute hidden gem among Carrollton food spots. The murals on the walls and lighting make this place super comfortable and while your typical chairs leave a little to be desired the traditional asian style dining area is absolutely phenomenal. I ordered a White Tiger Roll and Spicy Hot roll which were fresh, delicious, and absolutely masterfully presented. The flavors on everything tasted like they were flown in and cut that day. The quality overall was absolutely remarkable.
I’d give them a 6th star if I could for being so welcoming as I came in 45 minutes before close. The service was given with a smile and food was in hand in less than 12 minutes. I will definitely be back when I am working in the area again!
