What a fantastic experience we had! The food, atmosphere, friendly and fast service! It is a bustling place. Even with how busy it was, the service was quick and food came out in a timely manner. The menu is extensive, something for everyone, even a few Korean options! You get complementary salad with a homemade ginger dressing and miso soup. We got the Teriyaki chicken bento box and the Bulgogi beef bento box. Both were excellent! We also ordered the Michigan Roll and Boss Roll. Both were delicious and fresh! We had to take home the leftovers because the meals are generous in portion. We aren’t in this area often but we want to come back and enjoy more things from the menu! Definitely see why this place has thousands of 5* reviews!

Medium sized sushi joint located in a strip mall that doesn’t look like much from the outside. On the inside the place is beautiful and bustling with tables packed and servers speeding around. While it’s busy it’s still not noisy or overcrowded. The app was one of the best ever nicknamed the avocado bomb, don’t pass on this one. With a huge selection of rolls there is something for everyone. There were about 8 sushi chefs behind the counter pushing out food as fast as anyone could imagine, we didn’t wait long for food at all. Service was great food was excellent. Don’t miss if you happen to be in the area.

I absolutely loved this place! The salad was good. I am not a miso soup person, so it wasn’t for me, but it you like miss soup it may be for you. We started with an order of Gyoza. Next, We had an Avocado Roll, U of M Roll, Mamacita Roll, and one other roll that i cannot remember the name of. The tastes were amazing and very flavorful. The Mamacita roll even had a soy bean wrapper which made for a very interesting and flavorful experience. I cannot wait to go back.

As a sushi lover, this is a place I frequent but not just for the sushi! The atmosphere here is amazing. Clean, decorated based on the time of year, chill, efficient…recently I had Beth for a seating hostess (called ahead to check on wait time and she was helpful) and Tyler for a waitress and I loved both. The starburst martini is delicious and I highly recommend the zorro roll, orange crush, screaming tuna, and the snowman.

One of the best sushi restaurants in Michigan. When the owner picks the fish and prepare it for you that brings pride in to it . Menu is outstanding easy to pick your favorite from close up photos of each individual rolls with descriptions so you know exactly what you are getting but don’t worry if you just ask your great servers they make it very easy to choose and always make you appreciate the service more

I come here quite often and drive about 45 minutes each way. I came in last Tuesday and was served brown/blackish avocado in one of my sushi rolls. The manager did take it off the bill and bring a new one however I find this completely unacceptable especially how it was so old it was wilting and u can visible see how brown and mushy… I was disappointed with the flavor of every roll I ordered (5) which has never happened, usally we love everything and can’t wait to come back. Seems like kids are running the place and it’s going down hill quick if there willing to serve this to customers….

I truly do not get the hype. Both times we were here the food was terrible. I love sushi, as does my husband, but even the avocado roll was bad. Horrible quality fish, the sushi just isn’t good, and the chicken was dry and gross in the bento box. I just don’t get it. The servers are nice, very friendly, but the food takes forever and the product is not worth the wait. Especially if you have kids.
