I always look for Japanese restaurants whenever I visit different cities, and this one is truly one of the most authentic sushi places I’ve been to. I ordered sashimi and the chef even added sushi rice for me — the combination was amazing. Fresh flavors, great experience. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in town.

Finding a Japanese restaurant I can enjoy is difficult due to a mushroom allergy. This place is AMAZING! None of their ingredients have a mushroom base, and I was able to enjoy miso soup for the first time in over 20 years. I got the New Moon sushi, and it was delicious! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Our server was wonderful, the music was calm and relaxing. I have a new favorite restaurant to enjoy.

I enjoyed everything that I ordered from this sushi spot and was surprised by the large sushi portions! I had lots leftover to take home to my family. I ordered the Yo Yo Maki Specialty Roll, Stuffed Jalapeños, Salmon Hibachi w/ Fried Rice and Veggies, and Fried Cheesecake. Everything was very delicious and fresh tasting. The fried sushi roll (with a side of ginger and eel sauce) was my absolute favorite. And the fried cheesecake was really something special. It wasn’t too sweet, and had a warm battered crust on the outside with still slightly cold cheesecake on the inside. This place is definitely worth a try and I plan to visit again. The lady who served me (I’m guessing perhaps an owner) was incredibly sweet and offered lots of suggestions. It’s a small family restaurant with not much seating, and probably best for takeout or small groups.

I’ll let the photo speak for itself pertaining to their food. Very hospitable and friendly service. Clean environment and atmosphere. Simply put a quality experience from a local area hidden gem. An instant favorite.

We’ve been going to this place since they opened, it’s sad that I’m only just now sharing my review. This is our go-to sushi place, it’s always fresh, the staff is amazing and very friendly and we never leave still hungry like most other sushi places. Although slightly pricey, it’s more than fair as it’s made from scratch and always fresh. We love this place and highly recommend it to anybody looking for a new sushi place.

Friday night dinner was busy, but we were seated right away .Real family restaurant kinda vibe. Extensive menu with something for everyone. We ordered the deep fried calamari as an appetizer, perfectly breaded and seasoned, fresh, and delicious. I had steak and scallop hibachi. It was served with miso soup,Salas with a citrusy house dressing, and fried rice. I felt I was served dishes prepared with care, attention to detail and high quality. Fantastic taste on everything, and I exited with left overs as well.
Good value,I’ll be back, and I’d recommend this restaurant.
Sorry no pictures I was hungry and totally forgot.

We drive over 45 mins just to come here for sushi. The food is always amazing and fresh. The spicy girl roll is sooo good! This has to be Toledo’s best kept secret.
