Good but not great. Why 4-stars? Mainly because of the amazing service and hospitality. I came in with a group of 8 others from my company – managers, co-workers, engineers, etc. They started us out with some complimentary edamame, met every request we made, produced one prodigious amount of sushi in short order and never let anyone’s glass get empty. To me, that constitutes success even if the sushi itself wasn’t record-setting. it was still sufficient and I don’t believe anyone had any complaints.
If you like the fatty tuna you should certainly give their’s a try…once they restock because we just ate it all. Like most places these days, they do a lot of rolls with sauce. I had a couple of pieces of one that involved tempura lobster that was also great.
They served up a couple of plates of complimentary dessert as well. Hard to believe that I’ve lived this long without eating a deep fried oreo. Their version is dipped in tempura batter. Wrong on so many levels but really a decadent way to end a good meal.

We have tried Sushi Yanagi quite a few times, we love it! Everything we have tried has been delicious. What inspired me to leave this review today was my salmon avocado sushi (pictured next to the eel avocado sushi, also delicious!) never in my life have I had salmon sushi that looks this beautiful- and it’s the best tasting I have ever had. Wow!!

The food is delicious. But The workers would not stop staring at us while we would eat. There was always someone staring which was really uncomfortable while eating. Not only that but we ordered 2 shrimp tempura rolls. Both to share. The waiter had also confirmed with us and asked us if we were ordering 2. They got one of our orders wrong and had to switch out the sushi. When we finished eating we asked for the check and they had charged us for 4 Shrimp Tempura Rolls when we ordered two. The server was respectful but seemed like she was in a rush to take our order.

Went to go pick up an order and wasn’t helped. As I was waiting by the door, no one welcomed me and asked if I needed help with anything. Instead they asked the white person behind me if they’re all set and proceed to seat them. It took a few minutes after they seated that person to notice that I was there.

The sushi here is very good. I prefer sushi that you can actually taste the fish, not just all the fixings. And Sushi Yanagi did not disappoint. Very generous portions of fish in each roll. Tuna was on the fatty side, but all around an amazing meal for the price. Highly recommend for sushi.
I also got a Grey Goose Saketini, and it was stellar! Cucumber slivers were a great garnish!

I had the bento box lunch special. It was great. The fried rice was perfect. I had it with the chicken curry. I did get a crème brûlée for dessert, it was not as good as expected.

The food was so good! We will happily come again. Atmosphere is casual, food came out quickly and was delicious, drinks were good. All in all a great meal.

Amazing absolutely amazing! I went out to get a pretty big round tasting of what they had to offer and was blown away. Miso soup, Beef Nagimaki (picture) to start. I ordered a Dragonball (picture), spicy tuna crunch roll, shrimp tempura, spider roll, and a Dragon roll to finish things off. I was literally dancing in my seat as I poured each heavenly bite into my face hole. 20/10 will be back for more! Amazing
