Y’all, I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place… from the attentive staff, to cleanliness of the environment, to the menu selection, presentation, and overall quality of food served, it has become one of our favorite places to eat.
Fantastic place for high-quality sushi & Asian cuisine.
We have enjoyed a wide variety of the menu options and cannot wait to our next visits for more! Our kids loved it as well!

We came to eat this evening and everything was great. The waitress was kind and the food was delicious. We brought three children with us and everyone enjoyed. The portion sizes are large!! We over ordered for sure but we happily took leftovers home for tomorrow. Our favorite was the tangerine chicken! The boba drinks were also good and dressed up cute for the kids. All meals were played nicely as well, I just won’t upload more pictures because my children are in them but this is a must stop while in Amarillo! Thank you Sushi Yama!

Wonderful sushi experience. Had great selections and they are all super tasty. They also make great food art. They also had kid bento boxes which had a lot of variety for the kids. Very inventful. My daughter got a cute dessert mochi for her birthday.

The sushi was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. You can truly taste the quality in every bite. Our rolls came out quickly, and everything looked almost too pretty to eat! The portions were generous, and the menu had so many great options to choose from.

The Ramen is not authentic Ramen. I had to cook it more when Igot home due to the raw look of all the items. The meat looks like it came from a school cafeteria. The miso is just salt and seaweed. This place should be ashamed to sell food. The service is typical we dont care attitude. Go somewhere else. I wouldn’t even feed this food to my dogs. 🙂

We were on a road trip and came back to Texas wanted some Asian food. Decided to try this restaurant due to good reviews. It turned out to be very disappointed.
We ordered the fried rice we got bonus surprise – egg shells, great for our calcium supplement.
Also, lower your bar of Japanese food here. We ordered a few rolls and none taste good. Obviously made by not well trained chef. The only good thing is the rolls are huge. Udon has all kinds of weird veggies shouldn’t be found in the soup. Not a single dish worth the price you pay.
The issue was brought up to the waitress attention, she apologized and told the manager, no further actions were taken when we left.

As someone who likes authentic Thai food, their papaya salad hit the spot! It was a perfect mixture of spicy, sour, and savory with the fermented crab sauce used. Also highly recommend the Super Yama Roll, the sushi and sashimi is always so fresh!

Modest venue with an overall elevated sushi experience. Elegant presentation but even better taste. The combination of flavors so perfectly incorporated in each sushi bite.
