Went here with a large group which was difficult for them to accommodate in a smaller restaurant, but food was delicious, fresh, and truly a work of art. It was difficult to get our order in, and again, to get enough chairs for everyone. That being said, I’d go again with a smaller party.

We came here for a weeknight dinner and it was a nice experience. The staff was courteous, quick to clear plates and refill water, and packed up leftovers for us. The bathroom was clean and so was the dining area. We ordered some appetizers, noodle dishes, and rolls. The dishes were nicely presented. The tables could be a bit larger so fit all the dishes or slow down a bit in bringing us the dishes. The only dish I didn’t care for was the ramen. I knew it wasn’t going to be the tonkotsu ramen so it’s not something I’ll order again. I did wished the dancing eel roll is made with California roll instead of spicy tuna. Everything else was delicious and our group was happy with the dining experience.

I went for a nice lunch with a business associate and his wife. The Sushi was good, not exceptional. It was well presented but the service was not up to par. Both water a tea were left empty long enough that one of our party actually got up and carried a water glass to the server for a refill. Aside from that, it was fine. I just won’t go running back anytime soon.

We enjoy coming to Sushi Yama in the neighborhood. Decent Japanese food right in PGA. Lunch Bento sets are fun to enjoy with different options to choose from. We ordered Nabeyaki Udon and a combo entree (shrimp tempura/chicken teriyaki) tonight with hot sake. Udon broth is delicious and came with shrimp tempura, so enjoyable. Teriyaki chicken flavor is great. Service is prompt and polite and we will be coming back here for sure. We do hope meat and vegetables can be more tender like what an authentic Japanese restaurant would offer.

The food is not that good except for the soft shell crab roll, the rest does not taste nice. Ordered the yakitori chicken but as you can see in the picture it doesn’t look like Japanese yakitori at all, bland taste also. The stir fry pork was quite dry and bland. For the salmon roll it was still ok, i don’t recommend this place if you are looking for authentic Japanese food.

We live in Jupiter, and Sushiyama is our go to sushi restaurant for many years. The sushi is always fresh in addition to tasty other hot dishes. The service is always great and the staff is friendly to our family. Highly recommend.

For the food i would give a 4.5 star rating, the service could be so much better, and its so easy to do … just care a little bit for your customers and treat them as you might like to be treated, how hard can that be?
Have been here several times, the food is consistently good and the service is consistently leaving much to be desired.
The parking is at a mall area and easy and plentiful. It is self parking. The decor of the restaurant is quite simple, clean and pleasing to the eye.
The sushi and sashimi chefs do a great job in preparing those dishes and the fish has always been good quality.
The prices are a bit on the higher side of average but i think the food is a good quality and better than many other similar type places.
I will be back, and just keep hoping for a bit better service!
