The place was packed but we still only waited about 10 minutes for a table. The service was impeccable. Our server Vanessa was patient, helpful, and smiling the whole time. If you want to eat right away, this is the place to go. They continually dropped off plates with new delicious thing to try. I have a severe allergy yo shellfish which severely limited my choices. I had the habachi steak, they use NY Strip steak, authentic midi sup a huge salad with a ginger dressing that reminded me of when I went to Japan. Oh! You must order the sauteed fresh vegetables (Al dente and delicious). Our server brought over some appetizers, excellent choice Vanessa. The outside design keep me from going there a few times (it was the old Smokey Bones place) it crashed with the theme, however inside was a whole other experience; the decor is high end and architecturally designed. I posted a few pics to give you an idea. We’ve been back a few time and the food and service was as top notch as the first time. If you haven’t tried it you are depriving yourself of a great a memorable evening.

Celebrated a birthday there for lunch to try their all you can eat sushi. We enjoy sushi and sashimi but was totally floored at the quality of fish they used. Most all you can eat restaurants get flack for inferior products but Sushi Yama was hands down one of the freshest sushi restaurants I’ve visited. I’ve had NYC / LA / San Francisco / Miami / Houston sushi and this definitely was on par with high end sushi spots. The price was $22.95 per person and the menu was extensive for lunch. The shrimp tempura was delicious, freshly made with the right amount of tempura. The sushi rolls were phenomenal. I can’t remember which ones we tried but it was solid, the shrimp and krab were our favorites. We tried also the raw tuna and salmon and those were really fresh. My mom tried the lo mein with chicken and she said it was really fresh as well. Overall, we will be back for sure and will recommend this to anyone in Wellington looking for a really good sushi spot. For lunch there was a good crowd as we got there around 1pm. Our waitress was Maria? and she was super attentive and nice. You order through your server so you don’t have to get up so everything is made fresh to order.

We just randomly decided to stop by for lunch at the closest place where we could get sushi, and we were honestly so surprised to find out they had Happy Hour than 22.95$ per person for unlimited ordering. That’s incredible! At first I couldn’t even believe it, but in the end our total was only 65$ including tip. The food was really good for the price, and the hot teas (which you pay for separately) were also very tasty. Drinks are not included.
Everything came out very quickly, the staff was friendly, and the place is super clean with a nice interior. There’s also plenty of free parking, which is really convenient. Happy Hour is only from 11:00 to 3:30, not all day. This was the first time I’ve actually wanted to come back to a place like this, almost like a sushi buffet vibes I would definitely return. Highly recommend!

This is hands down the best All-You-Can-Eat experience in Florida. Unlike typical buffets, the quality here is top-tier and made-to-order.
• The Food: The sashimi is incredibly fresh and buttery, and the specialty rolls are crafted with the precision of a high-end à la carte spot.
• The Service: Fast, professional, and attentive. Your table is cleared promptly, and the next round arrives perfectly timed.
• The Vibe: The atmosphere is elegant and modern—perfect for a date night or a sophisticated dinner.
Verdict: Exceptional quality meets unlimited value. A total 10/10

Bye.. Smokey Bones and Hello …Sushi Yama what a great addition to Wellington restaurant options in the area. I love their menu options – all you can eat or à la carte. We went with à la carte being that we wanted to try different sushi rolls available.
We went with the Little Tokyo- declared our favorite by both of us. It was just divine I could eat just that next time I visit and I will be happy. We also tried the bubba gump and the tornado roll- my 2nd favorite
I am so looking forward to trying their other special rolls. Everything was so fresh and just perfect. We got spicy mayo and eel sauce on the side but the rolls were so delicious that we didn’t really need sauce for them.
Great spot for sushi rolls ♥️

I love Sushi Yama.
Food is incredibly good and comes to the table super fast without loosing quality.
It isn’t cheap but it is super compatible with the service and food delivered.
There a few options of vegetarians and super friendly to kids.
Plenty of parking around.

The sushi here was good and fresh, and overall it was a decent experience. The only downside was that we weren’t given all the menus at the start, so we didn’t realize there were more options until later. Vegetable hibachi needs to have more variety. Once everything was sorted, the food came out nicely prepared and tasted great. Would come back again, but hope service is a bit more organized next time.

Came here with a friend for dinner for the all you can eat buffet. Beautiful decor and atmosphere inside and out. Was told the wait would be 20-30 minutes which was understandable since it was a busy Saturday night. Unfortunately we didn’t get seated for around 50 minutes and we probably wouldn’t have stayed for a wait that long.
The menu itself is a good size for this type of “buffet”. All the food was good but portions were a bit on the small end. Thing that bothered me the most was the fact that everything comes out at different times. Some things we ordered came in 2 minutes while others took almost half an hour to come out. I can understand a little variety in time for food to be made but this seemed a little ridiculous.
The servers were all nice though and were always available for us to order more or ask for anything. Overall a good experience here if you like buffets.
