The owner actually remembered me! My sister was from it state and asked does veveryone know you?
I LOVE the fact that they make my”special spicy tuna roll” with masago and sesame seeds mixed in with the spicy tuna! Then, the rainbow (different fresh fish) again topped with masago and sesame seeds!

I don’t know what’s happened with the service and quality of food , but today visit is the last one . Ordered the same popcorn lobster roll and it’s disappointment . Came with different sizes of bites , one thick one thin, one piece had just cucumber feeling . Popcorn lobster was most batter. Before was served on a metal tray on a foil , with wasabi and pickled ginger , today nothing of this . Last pic is from the good time we had there . For 25 usd I rather get pound of king salmon and bake in oven .

Large sushi rolls. Quality of fish was excellent, better than just about any other sushi places I’ve been too – super fresh, melt in your mouth. The rolls had very delicate and subtlety nice flavors. The restaurant itself had a warm, inviting, and cozy atmosphere, quiet too.

Only knocks to the sushi, were that some of the rolls were cut into sizes that were too large for a single bite. Also, on a lot of the pieces, the bottom rice would fall off as you picked up the pieces, dropping cucumber or other parts out of the bite.

Pink Lady roll – 3/5 – Good flavor, but the pieces were large and hard to eat, I was also not a fan of the end pieces which were large and more like nigiri/sashimi rather than sushi.

Crystal Dragon – 5/5 – very tasty, some variety, would get again.

Philly Roll – 5/5 – great flavor, the cream cheese they use goes very well with the roll, would get again.

Rainbow Teriyaki Roll – 3.5/5 – Flavor was nice, nothing too mind blowing, pieces again were a little too large, I’d try it again.

Note: some of the spicy options aren’t very spicy if that’s what you’re looking for, and the wasabi is more mild type, which isn’t a bad thing necessarily, just different.

You will not be disappointed. The sushi is incredible here and John, the chef, gets most of his fish from Japan. I recommend the soft shell crab and the sesame salmon roll. Literally anything you get will not only be extremely tasty but it will melt in your mouth.

This was our first time eating here, and we had a great experience. We had house salads, miso soup, three different kinds of rolls, and mochi, and everything was delicious! The service was quick and the atmosphere of the restaurant was inviting. We’ll definitely eat here again.

My wife and I came here from Texas and we were blown away by the sushi selection. This was better than any place we’ve been to in Texas. We will definitely be back! The food was delicious!
