Very cutely decorated, love the interior. Service was very good. They forgot our soup but made sure to take it off our bill before we got it and also gave us two free ice creams which was so nice. Only bad thing was miso soup was pretty expensive for how small the portion was and lack of flavor. In addition, there was a large bug in my water when I was given it as I sat down, and the replacement water I was given had a small gnat in it, so I couldn’t escape the bugs in my water but other than that, great friendly service and my sushi hand roll was delicious.

Came in for an early dinner and had a great experience. We ordered the crab rangoon and gyozas, which were delicious, and enjoyed hot tea that they kindly refilled. For our entrées, we had the Godzilla rolls, and my partner chose the chef’s selection of raw sushi. Everything was very fresh and flavorful. We finished with the lava cake for dessert, which was very soft and rich in chocolate. Server was a delight too! We’ll definitely be back.

Love this place! Been going here for 4+ years with my family! Hands down my favorite Japanese restaurant. Sweet heart roll is incredible, gyoza is amazing and Chirasi is really good. Only bad note is indoors has a bit of a fly problem.

Great sushi spot in downtown GE. They have a kids menu and my kids really enjoyed their food. They also have a nice selection of Japanese beers. Definitely worth a try if you’re craving sushi.

Dined here for the first time and I’m mad at myself for not getting here sooner. The sushi was incredible! The fish was very fresh and the fresh wasabi was perfection! Hannah, our server, was so kind and attentive.

As an Asian who’s been to countless Japanese restaurants… the tonkotsu ramen here is really just chashu noodle in very seaweed tasting broth. Where is the alkaline noodle? Where is the rich flavored pork broth? Where are the normal toppings? This is absolutely not what it claims to be. The sushi rolls? What a joke. Not even good by American people standards honestly…look at this picture… you call this volcano roll? On the flip side, the ambience is decent and the server is nice. Food is deceptively bad. I have no idea why this place has an avg rating above 3 star

Service was pretty good. I arrived a bit late to join my party. They were already seated and served drinks. I was not offered to order a drink and had to ask for water. The waitress was pretty hands-off, which I appreciated but was available when called. We had sushi/sashimi and miso soup for appetizer. The food was just okay and a bit on the pricier side. They had cool, Japanese rooms where you take your shoes off and sit around a low table. We didn’t eat at these tables, but they looked like really neat experience.

We’ve been coming here since they opened and love this place. The food is great and the atmosphere is perfect for family or date night. Emma, our usual server, always takes great care of us. Makes sure you ask to sit at her table!
