I’ve been looking for a good sushi place for months and I think I finally found the one! We came in as a big group because I was celebrating my birthday and the staff was so nice (I even got some cute chopsticks as a gift!). Besides the food being amazing the service was exceptional along with the atmosphere 10/10. Would definitely recommend others to try it out! (their super crunch roll changed my life)

I’m pretty picky about sushi places. Especially if they have an all you can eat option. I gave them a try because of the other good reviews and well they’re not wrong. This place is comfortable with a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was very attentive and answered any any and all questions asked about their food. Speaking about the food, well it was pretty darn good. I’ll definitely come back again next time I’m in town! Thank you for the good food and lovely and very personable staff.

My partner and I love AYCE sushi places because you can try some special sushi rolls and appetizers and this place hit the spot. They had many apps and sushi to choose from. The presentation and taste were both excellent! The atmosphere was very chill. We loved the lanterns on the ceiling. The service was very good too. They kept checking in on us every so often. The price for AYCE sushi for $30 wasn’t bad either.

Sushi, ramen, and desserts are delicious! This is my family’s go-to sushi restaurant. The service is great and quick. Love the cozy ambience and the presentation of the food. The menu prices are a little pricey so we can’t eat here as often, but still worth it!

This is definitely my favorite place in 2024. The people are friendly and always make you feel welcome. The sushi is great. I stopped going to other places because the taste and quality are not the same, but here at Sushi U, I always enjoy my sushi and everything else they offer. The only thing I don’t like that all is that they only offer can soda. I wish they had a free refill offer, not with the can, of course. Btw, the presentation is always so cute .

Favorite sushi place in the Algonquin/Crystal Lake area. We’ve tried many places nearby, but this place is the one we always come back to. The rolls are delicious, fresh, and you don’t get skimped on the lower cost rolls. We have closer sushi places to us, but this one is worth the extra drive.

This place was excellent but is struggling with the extra business it seems. They had the best onion rings in town, now they are the worst. Why change them? They didn’t send my daughters chicken nuggets even after I waited patiently 20 min past the estimated pick up time. They didn’t send chop sticks or soy source. They need help operationally.

Nice clean and pleasent looking atmosphere. Good service. The affordable ‘all you can eat’ sushi was good and includes any special rolls and appetizers. We went for lunch. The appetizers are very good here. The sushi was put together well. I haven’t left so full from a sushi restaurant in a while.
