From the outside, this sushi spot looks a bit old and creepy, but don’t let that fool you — once you walk in, it’s super clean and well-kept.
We went for the all-you-can-eat dinner after 3 PM and everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. Honestly, we enjoyed every single dish — definitely a must-try if you love sushi.
Ordering is done through a tablet, which makes it easy and fast. The staff were very friendly and attentive, and even the washrooms were clean, which is always a good sign.
Overall, a great experience and a pleasant surprise. I’d happily come back!

My husband introduced me to this place years ago and at first I was skeptical by the look of the outside of the restaurant. Boy was i wrong! It is my favourite sushi place to get fried chicken udon and their fried rice is phenomenal!! They have great fresh sushi and delicious sides as well. Our waitress is also very kind and delivers great service.

As you can tell by the photos and videos, our table couldn’t wait before digging in. A non-local may look at this place and think that the sushi here matches its location and look. On the contrary, Sushi T&T has been on my top 3 places to eat. Their spicy crab rolls, along with their salmon, has been the standard that I hold when I go try different places. Whenever I come back home to visit, Sushi T&T will always be on my list to visit. Do note that AYCE for lunch has risen in price over the years and not a lot of people may view it as worth it.

Been going here since I was a teenager, and it really used to be my favourite and only sushi restaurant I would order from. The only reasons they have two stars is because of two servers over the years who were so kind and accommodating to my family and I throughout the years.
Three reasons why Sushi TNT has been going downhill.
1. Went for an AYCE lunch one time with my older brother and we really loved their shrimp skewers. We probably ordered 20 already and we wanted to order more. Their owner or manager (60 year old man) approached us in a very rude manner and told us that we could no longer order the shrimp skewers because there would be none left for their other customers. Does this not defeat the purpose of “all you can eat”? Mind you, we were only an hour into dining in and no where near the two hour limit that most AYCE restaurants have.
2. The quality and quantity of their food for the price they charge has really gone down through the years. For instance, they are very stingy with the size of salmon sashimi, salmon sushi pieces, and amount of salmon they put into the spicy salmon roll whenever we order the salmon lover sushi combo. It is really crazy how small the serving is compared to other sushi restaurants in Durham Region.
3. Last but not least, we dined in for a la carte. Keep in mind that our server only gave us an iPad to send our orders in, without giving us the paper copy of the a-la-carte menu. We wanted to order the vegetable tempura but it doesn’t clarify how many pieces they serve on the iPad. So, we checked on their online menu to see if they provided that information. On their online website menu, it says that an order of vegetable tempura comes with 10 pieces, so we ordered that. When it arrived to our table, we only counted 9 pieces and informed our server of this. She took it back to the kitchen and informed their old owner/manager They came back to our table with the paper copy of the a-la-carte menu to point out (in a rude manner) that their vegetable tempura orders only come with 8 pieces. This was very misleading because we were led to believe that we would receive 10 pieces. This sushi restaurant should consider learning to be more hospitable and accommodating since they are in the hospitality business.
If you are looking to be treated with respect and hospitality, I would suggest you to look elsewhere other.
And if you are the owner/manager reading this, I do hope you reflect on this review and learn to respect your customers who support your business. It disappoints me that you have not changed over the years.

A lovely little spot for sushi! Service was good, friendly, and fast. We arrived just before the dinner rush and enjoyed the quiet! Their sushi rolls are excellent, fresh, and beautifully presented and the tempura is perfection! My husband’s favourite was the beef short ribs, mine was the T&T Roll!!

Absolutely phenomenal sushi, best in the GTA out of the 40+ places I tried. Ingredients are always fresh, the rolls are perfectly sized. The ratio of ingredients is also perfect. You cannot find better sushi than this other than Japan. Sushi T&T has been consistently superb for the 5+ years I have known it. The other reviews say the service is bad but I haven’t experienced this. In fact, the waitresses have been very nice. This place turned my sushi-disliking girlfriend into a full-fledged addict and I am thankful for it’s existence. Highly highly recommend.

We’ve eaten most japanese restaurant all over the GTA and I would say our taste have been well honed. You cannot judge a book by its cover. Sushi TNT Ajax, by far is the best tasting, freshest serving dishes we have tasted. Service is very good . Everything is delicious. Try it out, you will be surprised!

After looking for a decent sushi place in Ajax we found this small and quaint Japanese sushi restaurant on our weekly shopping route. I looked at some of the reviews, and decided for a sudden dinner plan on Sunday evening. The place was not too busy, It’s a very small restaurant but neat and clean. Service was quick and the food was delicious. We ordered some of the house special rolls and chicken Katsu curry with rice. Portion sizes and overall cost are reasonable. Definitely recommend trying their spicy crab roll.
