Still my go to for a great affordable sushi lunch! They increased their $8.95 bento lunch to $9.99, but still a deal, and today they had rolls on sale!! The salmon and avocado roll was only $5! And so was some other rolls. My chicken katsu was so juicy and crunchy, loved it! The service and staff are always so friendly. The place is small but cute and always clean. Love their complimentary green tea too. Hope this place never changes.

Absolutely loved Sushi Town in San Jose!
The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated ,you can tell they use quality ingredients. The rolls were generous in size and perfectly balanced, especially the spicy tuna and dragon rolls. The staff was super friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and service was quick even during the dinner rush. The vibe is cozy and relaxed, perfect for both quick bites and casual dinners with friends. Definitely one of my go-to spots in San Jose for reliable, delicious sushi!

Place was amazing. Came here for the first time and everything went well, it wasn’t too crowded. Service was fast and amazing, sushi was sooooo good. Need a place to eat sushi? I would recommend this place. But be careful of parking, it’s very limited.

My first visit to Sushi Town in Alum Rock, San Jose, CA. Not an elaborate place but well lit and decent settings. The service was very quick and the sushi rolls arrived very quickly. Rolls were well made and tasted fresh. The price was very affordable as well. I will definitely try this place again some other time.

Having to wipe away tears after my little buddy told me at 5 years old “this was the best day ever” he conked out for a few hours so I could rest my sore knees after an amazing day thanks to the water park at great America.
The first thing I noticed was the sign on Window that display 10 dollar bento box!
While inside I leered at people’s food and asked how how it was three different people said what I would say it’s the best tasting deal this side of San Jose.
service was beyond great super friend with a warm feel from the staff. If you read my others reviewes I love customer service and i appreciate the fast service and how affordable it was for for the four of us to dine. Seriously I had Grandma waiting with a sleeping 5 year old in the car and we were in and out with in 15 min I highly recommend the chicken teriyaki the salad was amazing and overall phenomenal!
Update 8/23/25
We wanted to thank the staff again. you made my mother inlaws birthday dinner something to remember. She specify asked for food from your restaurant for her birthday dinner!
also a big thank you to the guy who posted photos of the udon soup. I tried to take photos of my own to show other how good it looked but I was too late it only a splash of
of soup left at bottom with the tail end of a noodle.

Gem in the neighborhood! Fresh sushi, big chunks, good deal. Nice servers. We’ve ordered party tray before by just giving them a budget and were more than pleased with what we got!

This is the place to go for an amazing deal. The whole menu was greatly priced and the amount you get for each roll is very generous and plentiful. The California rolls were amazing and delicious. Ended up taking some to go since they were priced very well and tasted amazing. Definitely would bring friends and family here because service is very quick and precise.

Wow, Japanese Bento Boxes for under $10 ? Thats crazy!! My friend recommended this spot to me, and I was not disappointed. Each Bento comes with main protein choice, couple California rolls, fried tempura veggies and shrimp, side of salad, and rice. You can substitute salmon for the protein for only a couple bucks more, as well as upgrade to gyozas and miso soup. I had the salmon which was cooked well and they gave me 2 good portions. The tempura was all freshly madeI felt very satisfied and content from my meal. It all came out very fast too! It’s not the best bento I’ve had, but paying almost double at other places for the same or less makes this a bargain. I definitely recommend giving this place a try.
