We tried Sushi Moon in Leander and WOW… absolutely incredible. Everything we ordered was delicious, but I have to call out the mushroom risotto; genuinely the best I’ve ever had in my life. So creamy, rich, and perfectly cooked. I’m still thinking about it.
We also had several sushi rolls and appetizers (all pictured) and every single dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. Portions were great and prices were super reasonable, especially for the quality.
The restaurant itself is very clean, modern, and comfortable, and the service was exceptional. Everyone was so kind and attentive without being overbearing.
If you’re in the Leander/Cedar Park area, this is a must-try. We will definitely be back! ✨

This is the best sushi we’ve had in and around Austin. The fish tasted like it came straight from the ocean to our plate. Even if you’re not in the Leander area it’s worth the drive. Truly a hidden gem. We ordered the country girl roll, caliente roll, hamachi lover rolls. All 10/10. If we had to assign a favorite, a must try is the country girl. Also, I am a miso soup and ponzu sauce fanatic and these were also both the best I’ve ever tasted. They even make specialty homemade wasabi’s. The pickled wasabi was so unique, delicious, and a phenomenal compliment to the country girl. Last but not least the service was 5 star. Shout out to impeccable and personable Jasmine, our server. Our first time. Worth every penny. We will be back for sure.

Visiting from NC and last night this was hands down one of the best dining experiences my family and I have ever had. The sushi was incredibly fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor in every bite. The happy hamachi dish and sashimi platter just melted in your mouth and Chef Sachie and Chef Masa clearly take pride in their craft and the attention to detail and creativity really shine through. The service was just as impressive with Jasmine who was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable! From the ambiance to the quality of the food, everything was top-notch. We can’t wait to come back!

I’ve been wanting to try this place for far too long! The interior is lovely—quiet and not too noisy. I ordered the Yum Yum Crunch Spicy Salmon, and it was amazing! It was crunchy, spicy, fresh, and exotic—definitely a must-try! The spicy pork was very tender, cooked to perfection, and had just the right amount of spice. The accompanying salad was flavorful, featuring ginger and other delicious ingredients, which made it quite refreshing. Lastly, the beef udon was rich and delightful, with the beef cooked perfectly. I also requested to add tofu, and they happily accommodated that, showing they are very open to customizing dishes for customer satisfaction. This place is truly a must-try!

Unpretentious casual environment, stellar service, native Japanese sushi chefs, excellent food. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience, and the most charming server from Singapore. The pork belly was delicious, and, they ok make their own shoyu (soy sauce)!

Temporas, appetizers and Katsu are always fresh and crispy outside with tender interior. Generous portions too.
