Edited: Thank you, but I’m not going to spend more on sushi that’s described incorrectly. Your menu says the roll is WRAPPED in salmon, but in reality there were just tiny pieces on top. Ginger, soy sauce, and wasabi should be included by default when sushi costs $15 and up — even cheap Chinese takeout places provide them without asking. This is a huge oversight that shows you’re cutting corners and trying to profit by raising your prices to the level of Fugakyu in Brookline. Enjoy your cream cheese sushi yourselves
Sometimes the pickup takes a few extra minutes, but I wouldn’t trade them for any other place kkkkthe quality of their food is unbeatable!
I’m allergic to shrimp, and their website makes it so easy to remove any ingredients you don’t want, which makes the whole experience even better and much safer for me.
And I absolutely love their fried temaki , it’s the best I’ve ever had! ✨
After ordering three times here, here’s what I’ve concluded:
1. Food quality: It’s uncertain if the quality of the food will be the same. One order you might get a delicious fresh strawberry roll and the next order you might get frozen strawberries that are too soggy to eat by the time they are delivered to you.
2. Order items: It’s uncertain if you will receive all of the products you ordered. Two out of three orders I’ve had missing items and was not contacted regarding the issue. The first time this happened, the restaurant replaced one of the missing items (a vegetarian roll) with a Salmon temaki (non-vegetarian option) given that I had also ordered a Philly roll. The second time this happened, it was not replaced. I’ve since then learned that the restaurant does not have the item available and has not been able to remove it from their online menu, but have removed it from their Uber Eats page; I’ve now learned to not order that item again, sadly.
3. Order time: It’s uncertain when your order will be ready. I’ve learned to order at least two hours ahead of time to account for their delays. Fully expect that your order will not be delivered or be ready for pick up at the time listed on their website. I’ve considered dining in to get around the wait times, but as the name says, it’s “to go”; there’s a seating area for pick up orders.
4. Customer service: It’s uncertain if you will get to speak to someone if you call the restaurant to inquire about your order. My calls have always gone to voice mail, which is normally full. I’ve learned to contact them via WhatsApp on the number listed; thankfully they are responsive and courteous.
Overall, I can only hope that they continue to improve. I will be willing to try my luck again in some time and update my review then.
