Walking through downtown Elmhurst we stepped into this sushi restaurant. Nice seating outside but the inside definitely needs some help. Now to the food. The sushi was OK, definitely not good just OK. But the worst part was the sweet-and-sour chicken we ordered. Absolutely the worst thing we ever ate in our lives. Deep fried and each piece consisted of a tiny piece of chicken with 95% breading. Absolutely no flavor. They do not serve alcohol here either.

We’ve come to Sushi Time enough times that the owner knows my son by name and his order. (I’m actually surprised it took me this long to review!) Sally and Mike are wonderful people who go above and beyond in customer service. Be it chatting with my son, cutting up the maki rolls into smaller pieces for him, or remembering GF soy sauce – I’m always so impressed. While my son and I indulge in the rolls, my husband has shown me their menu is extensive and includes other delicious meals including the fried rice, crab rangoons, and chicken katsu. Keep doing what you’re doing! We always enjoy our lunch visits.

This was my first time here and I was more than impressed! We ordered the Sweet Heart, Spicy Tuna, Godzilla, Mexican, and the York rolls. Everything was SO fresh and delicious. We also had crab Rangoon which was hot & delicious! The presentation of the food was incredible. Small eating area but you can tell it’s more of a takeout establishment. The staff was so friendly too! We will definitely return!

The presentation was amazing and everything tasted so great! Awesome price for the huge amount of rolls we got. It’s a bit out of my way, but I’d definitely come back for the service and absolutely delicious sushi! Compliments to the chefs!

A chill local sushi shop with amazing prices and even better sushi. My friend and I love to come here on our lunch break, and we’ve been blown away every time.
Sally is the go-to person during the day, and she’s been a delight every time. Not only is the service fast and phenomenally attentive, but the staff are both knowledgeable and willing to give great recommendations too. Their specials actually feel special: the Mango Tango roll could almost be a dessert dish! The fish is fresh and tasty; as a tuna lover, I’m particularly delighted when there’s no hint if fishiness, and every roll I’ve ordered here has been nothing less than delicious. Their side dishes are generous and tasty, the rolls are of perfect size, and I’ve never once left hungry. Even their miso soup hits the spot on breezy days, and that’s a recipe that’s hard to nail as well as they do it here.
I can only imagine that if their lunch menu is *this* awesome, their dinners must be even better! Thanks for being the best lunch sushi spot in the area!

Closed huh? Hopefully they reopen again and this time treat their customers better. I simply came in to pick up an order and was ignored by the staff who was huddled up giggling and laughing. I saw the name of the order I was coming to pick up now all of a sudden the staff is free and focuses on me and tried to keep me from grabbing my order, even trying to snatch it out my grasp. I’ve never had the food but I’ve witnessed terrible customer service from here quite often.

I gave this place a two star because their crab Rangoon were pretty good and so was there miso soup I was seated right away, which was very nice and food came very quickly, but the fish was not fresh and the two girls serving I think we’re pretty new, kinda shy and didn’t know really what to bring me. I had to ask for wasabi and ginger twice. The restaurant was clean, but for a sushi place in downtown Elmhurst I was expecting a lot more

Came here on Saturday around 5:00pm for dine in. There were only 3 tables in the entire restaurant. They were very busy with orders to go. Drivers from Grub Hub, Uber Eats, and Door Dash kept coming in and out. The wait was long but the staff was welcoming and friendly. Their speciality sushi roll wasn’t as good as their regular roll.

Wow first time here and it was amazing even for takeout! The ordering process was quick and Simone and the order was ready within 20 minutes even though it had originally said 50 minutes so very happy about that. Can’t wait to try it again! I got the 2021 roll and I highly recommend:))
