Reviews
Some of our favorite dishes from Sushi Thai:
Summer Rolls
Gyoza
Noodle Soup Duck
Chicken Pad Thai
Chicken Cashews Nuts
Sesame Chicken
K Roll
Triple Crown Roll
Thai Ice Tea
I would steer away from the Chicken Teriyaki as it isn’t their best work, maybe good for the young ones… BUT the presentations are always great!
The Kobe Roll came to our table, and first bite was heaven. I have never tasted anything so beautifully put together as this roll. The sauces, the fish, the seaweed, everything was just harmonizing perfectly with one another.
The chicken pad Thai (Two Star) came out piping hot, and was so full of chicken, I’ve never visited a Thai restaurant that was so generous with meat portions. The pad Thai was slightly spicy, perfectly cooked and wasn’t too heavy.
The Sticky Mango Rice was absolute perfection. Wasn’t too sweet, and the mango complimented the dish with just enough sweetness.
Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with my visit here, and will be back soon!
Anyway, let’s get into the review.
I ordered to-go, so I can’t rate the service. The atmosphere isn’t what you expect for a place charging what they charge. This isn’t buffet prices. Don’t get me wrong, I love Thai food, but when you pay $30 for three rolls, you expect a more elevated atmosphere.
The staff was friendly, the prices are what I expect from a good Thai restaurant. So, no complaints.
The New York roll is warm, crunchy, and fresh.
The Lovely Salmon, is raw Salmon on a bed of seaweed salad and cucumber. My favorite one of the night.
The Crunchy Shrimp roll, made my 7yo niece happy, so it must have been good.
Pros: Excellent fresh sushi, prices are on point.
Cons: Limited seating, atmosphere is cluttered with to-go orders
Also, the restaurant itself is gorgeous, very clean, and they’re always playing nice instrumental music. Love it here!
My BFF and I drove up to Tullahoma for Henry Cho’s sold out comedy show tonight and arrived early enough for dinner. The reviews for Sushi Thai were all great so we opted for it over BBQ and boy was I glad. I ordered the Bento with miso instead of salad and my friend got Chicken Pqd Thai. We also shared appetizers – Steam Dumpling and Crab Rangoon – as well as sharing a dessert of Mango Sticky Rice. The food was fresh and delicious, service was quick and courteous and we were treated as if we were the only ones who mattered even though the restaurant was packed full. Thankfully we arrived about 5:30pm and were served & checked out by 6:40pm. The show was at 7pm about 3 miles away so we made curtain on time. If I’m ever back In Tullahoma I will definitely eat here again.
