Too late for lunch, too early for dinner. Decided to split a roll to tide us over until dinner. Great little place. The Dragon Roll was absolutely excellent. Wife doesn’t care for raw and the Dragon has tempura shrimp and asparagus in it among other things. Perfectly prepared and handsomely presented. Wish we were staying longer so we could come back again at dinner.

Ok, Panang Curry with shrimp, Best Ever!
Spicy Edamame, Best Ever!
Friendly, prompt service.
This place receives my highest recommendation.
In fact, it was so good we ordered Panang Curry with shrimp to go.
Thanks to the Chef and Staff for taking such great care of us.

Casual Thai spot with friendly staff and a number of vegetarian and vegan options. Also serves wine and beer. Food was tasty and exceeded my expectations. We ordered the vegan gyoza which were delicious, a pad Thai, and a basil rice dish. All very good.

This place is a gem. I was reluctant coming from the eastern slopes and we have fairly fresh sushi. This place has fresh sushi too. Very impressive for a mountain town.

The service is exceptional. They were busy, we still got in fairly quick. Everyone is so polite and friendly, staff and patrons. Clean. Good food. Good price.

A quaint and cozy Asian fusion and sushi restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. The wait staff is very attentive and friendly. Don’t miss the Thai curry dishes—they are flavorful and delicious! Their sushi rolls are artfully prepared, and there’s something for everyone on the menu.”

First vist-We walked in and was amazed at how warm and comfortable it was. The Staff greeted us right away. The menu has many items to choose from took me awhile but many great choices. I ended up with the Duck in galic sauce and spicy tuna rolls. Miso soup was delicious and pork dumplings staff was super nice. I can say i will be back and sorry it took so long to try. Definitely one of my Salida favorites.

We love Salida
We are local and had to be truly disappointed over the last several meals. Yes, we enjoyed this place when it opened and dined here about ten times total. The service has declined to be robotic and unwelcoming but the sushi has declined and this last time, the eel was super salty and bad-fishy; old inventory being refreshed? We could not eat it. did not eat it, mentioned the quality, waitress said nothing, we paid, tipped and sadly will not be back as we have other wonderful restaurants.

A bit pricey but the food is delicious. The pad Thai was very moist and full of flavor. Giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the price and it could be spicier. Ordered Thai hot and it was equal to about regular hot or spicy at other places on the west coast. Service was a little slow with only two tables but multiple servers. Def would come again if in town but maybe order take out

The service was friendly but they did decide to close early which annoyed some guests. We got the pad Thai and jalapeño hamachi. I had two bites of each. I’m usually not so picky but I couldn’t stomach eating more. The pad Thai sauce was really sweet and artificial tasting and seems to be a pre-made mix. The hamachi wasn’t as fresh tasting as I’d like for raw fish. There was something off about both these dishes. It was really disappointing for $20 a plate. I will say, the servers were friendly and asked if everything was ok to which I didn’t say anything. Between a classic hot plate and the sashimi being let downs, I wasn’t up for trying anything else or not paying for the plates but wanted to share.

Awesome food! One of the best sushi places I have ever eaten at. The eel was done to perfection. The shrimp tempura roll was so nice and crunchy inside it was delicious. They also have noodles, curry and lots of other things to order off the menu. They have green and Jasmine tea. Waitresses were outstanding and very attentive. There are a few tables outside where dogs are welcomed. And plenty of room for hikers backpacks inside. Restaurant is very clean including the restrooms! Enjoy! I’ll definitely be back.
