Sushi Teri has been a mixed bag of tricks their whole life. The food is great, comforting and delish. The service is mid, but what the hell. They can NEVER get the sushi bar food and kitchen food synchronized. Sometimes hot food first, then sushi then appetizers. No shits given, what comes out, comes out. When with a gathering of people it is a disaster of some eating, some waiting, some wondering if their order was even received. Again…WHEN it arrives it is great.

Always love Sushi Teri when in town. We usually go to the Santa Barbara location. This was a pleasant surprise! We had a large family group ordering 1 offs left and right. They kept up with in stride. Thank you for a great family experience!

Got shrimp sashimi, it tasted really off, let the server know and asked if it was fresh, server asked the back, came back and said it might taste weird because the shrimp is raw. Duh.
Anyways other than that fiasco the salmon sashimi was not bad! Very thin pieces though, not worth the price. I probably would not return.

Extensive menu with something for everyone. Primarily Japanese menu but a few Korean and other Asian dishes as well.
The food was overall ok, nothing that stood out as exceptional (bland in fact for some of it) and some items are quite expensive.
☛Handroll special – large rolls, basic, comes with soup or salad. Opted for the salad (cabbage) is huge and quite simple but good.
☛Spanish mackerel nigiri on special, good but not worth the price.
☛Sweet shrimp, basic but decent.
☛Spicy veg roll (avoid, disappointed).
☛Sea Urchin, fresh but expensive.
☛Beer, served cold in a frosty mugs (how it should be).

Bustling local family-owned restaurant serving up fresh sushi and a variety of Japanese food dishes in a large tastefully decorated space. We love the spicy edamame and miso soup as starters, followed by the “Linden”, “Red Dragon” and “Monkey” sushi rolls. The sushi is always fresh, delicately delicious and layered with flavor. This is our favorite Japanese restaurant in all of Santa Barbara County.

We had an excellent meal of sushi here at Sushi Teri. I was very impressed with the speed of the service. We had a reservation for 6:30 and we were basically done eating by 7:30. Everything was really delicious. Our server was friendly and very helpful at accommodating my son’s food preferences. My favorite sushi roll was the Girl’s Night Out.

Among the best food experiences I’ve had in the US. Nice environment and fantastic food for a reasonable price. I’m actually thinking I should probably reevaluate the other restaurants that got 5 stars from me, as this one sets a new benchmark. Thumbs up!
