My daughter and I went here for the first time for lunch and had a nice experience. The lunch specials and food were good. Service was good. My daughter loved the decorations inside and the “kids chopsticks”. We had the edamame, hibachi bento, and sushi bento lunches. Loved the miso soup and eel roll. We will be returning to try more dishes!

Where do I start, my food was horrible. I ordered the shrimp and chicken hibachi and spent $30 on food I had to throw away. The food looked and tasted old. The shrimp looked as if it was previously cooked and reheated in a pan to throw into my dish. On top of that it was burnt. Why on earth would they still choose to sell burnt food to customers. They must not want clients to come back to their establishment. The chicken had a weird taste and didn’t taste like chicken should. Most importantly what made my food down right disgusting is the fact that they literally took an entire bag of sugar and dumped it in the dish. I’ve never had a hibachi dish wear sugar was added to it. The food was so sweet it was inedible. I should have known by the way the sauce on my dish was so thick like syrup. All and all I will never go back to this place. The fried rice was not flavorful and only had soy sauce on it. Save your money and don’t waste your money, time, or taste buds on this place.

I love eating in and taking out at Sushi Tendou! I live close by, and it’s always a highlight of my week when I get to have their sushi. It’s so fresh and always has great presentation. My favorites are the salmon and eel hand rolls. They even throw in extra sushi rolls when I get take out!

We ate takeout from this location once while staying at a nearby hotel.

It was fine. The gyoza were quite good and the sushi was better than average by a small bit, but the hibachi we ordered was swimming like it was supposed to be a soup. The food in the hibachi soup were tasty enough, if a bit bland. Overall it was sort of a confused meal from a Japanese place but not enough that I would suggest you avoid it.

I’ve been to Sushi Tendou at least once a month for the past half-year or so, and the food is always impeccable! The chefs and servers are wonderful, and the service is above and beyond. Highly recommend this place for anybody that wants a great sushi experience!

Excellent sushi. Rainbow roll was excellent. I can’t remember the names of the other tow rolls we got. The middle one was our favorite and we got a second one. Philly roll too.

I went there with a friend who likes sushi but I don’t like sushi. I read they had other items on the menu that weren’t sushi, which they did have. My friend said that the sushi was pretty good but I was disappointed with the cooked food. The shrimp tempura seemed to have a doughy substance between the shrimp and the outside crispy tempura. I had the hibachi shrimp and beef with vegetables. The beef was tough and overcooked. The entire dish tasted like it was cooked in a pot that had burned food residue in it. Maybe it’s a Japanese efficiency thing but I found there continuous prodding to clean the dishes off the table to be rather annoying. It’s not like they were busy either and wanted to make room for new customers quickly.
