As O’Siders one of the places that we go to is Carlsbad Village which is our sister city. I didn’t know that there was a Sushi place here until yesterday. And I must say that I am really glad that we tried it, because now we have a go to place for Sushi. Unfortunately the one near which is not that great

Our group came here at the recommendation of a local, and enjoyed our sushi massacre. Very fresh, we enjoyed all the dishes we ordered. And some rather unique menu items (fish-veggie combinations) we hadn’t seen before. I like that there were no heavy sauces on the rolls, so the fresh flavors were evident.

Excellent service. Very good food. In our world, it seems more and more service personnel are trying to get paid for less and less work/care. I’m not sure if it was just the waitress/chefs I had or if it’s the whole staff but truly great service. The waitress seemed like she really cared to be there and wanted you to feel welcome. The chefs were also super friendly and checked on me twice. Also the decor and cutlery all feels high end. It’s just refreshing to go somewhere with caring staff and a nice atmosphere. And of course good food.
