My name is Susie and I just opened a brand-new sushi restaurant right here in Deerfield — Sushi Susie, located at 20506 Milwaukee Ave. We offer All You Can Eat Sushi, fresh rolls, sashimi, appetizers, and a variety of hot dishes. Everything is made fresh to order! I recently moved my restaurant from Fox River Grove to Deerfield, and I’m so excited to meet my new neighbors and serve this community.

It’s the rare “worth doing the review the same night” review.
My wife heard about this new sushi place through Facebook. When I found out they offer all-you-can-eat, it was a must do after two hours indoor cycling. Needed protein and carbs.
The AYCE is priced very reasonably at $30 a person. It’s mainly sushi – surprisingly they’re not trying to fill you up with noodles or a rice bowl – and the fish quality and cuts are better than I expected at that price. Appetizers are mainly fried, so we mostly skipped them, but I would consider with a bigger group.
Despite spicy warnings on a few of the rolls we ordered, nothing brought much heat. They were all generous six or eight piece rolls. The nigiri were normal sized. The fish had flavor.
No liquor license yet and the dining room feels a little bit like someone is still moving in, but we enjoyed overall and absolutely will return. They were busy but managed to keep pace with some pretty large tables and carry out orders. The staff were notably friendly and conversational as well.

I’m so happy she’s back, my sister and I were checking every few months hoping she would reopen! We were devastated when the other location closed. The sushi here is always fresh and had so many unique flavor combinations. The presentation always beautiful and the service is superb!

Today was my first time trying this restaurant. I honestly didn’t expect much since it’s an all-you-can-eat place, but the quality of the fish was surprisingly good. My favorite was the Sunny Roll. The atmosphere was very quiet and relaxing, and the service was also excellent and fast.

I would very much recommend the crispy kani salad and the caterpillar roll and the Chicago fire roll (if you like warm smooth sushi)

I had an excellent experience at Sushi Susie! I ordered the spider roll with soy paper from the menu, and it was absolutely delicious. The soft shell crab was perfectly crispy, the ingredients were fresh, and the soy paper gave it a lighter, smoother texture that really let the flavors shine.
The service was very attentive and welcoming, which made the whole dining experience even better. You can tell they truly care about both the food and their customers.

The appetizers and fried food were decent, but we’re not here to pay $60 for some fried food. The sushi itself, including the rolls, have a horrible rice ratio. You can barely taste the fish. Overall not worth the money and would not come back.

The sushi is very delicious, and the food is extremely fresh, especially the fresh salmon. The service is excellent and very fast. They also offer an all-you-can-eat option, and they moved here from Fox River Grove.
