Good plum wine. Great tempura with gluten free batter. Nigiri is fresh. Our server was awesome. Only feedback is that amaebi wasn’t as fresh and the shrimp head has a sweet sauce in top; I prefer it just as is. Nice place if your passing through and craving sushi.

Love this place. I can sit outside and enjoy all the delicious food and great service. Always treated wonderfully by the servers. Love to Lisa, Laurel, and Kevin and also Vangee. And they now have “happy hour”

Second time eating here. Good food. Ordered the Shrimp and Vegetable Tempura, Miso Soup and the Sweet Potatoe Roll (vegetarian). Last time we got (2) of the Monster Rolls (Deep fried…non vegetarian). Everything I’ve had from here has been good.
It is rather pricey, imo. I don’t find that it is sensational for its price, however I understand that the restaurant business needs to make money too.
Atmosphere is nice. Wait staff is polite and knowledge of their menu.

Summer in the city and the iron lion did not disappoint, service was also great.
UPDATE: still good. Only down side is they aren’t open for lunch so we normally have to plan accordingly.

Excellent food and if you want outstanding service every time, ask for Lisa! Their fried sushi rolls were delicious, and the service was great! I love sitting on their outdoor covered patios with the string lighting and outdoor heating. I highly recommend it!

We decided on takeout since we had a few errands. I took a chance on the chefs special even though I did feel bad not eating it right then and there. It is PHENOMENAL. I’ve had sushi all around California and it’s good, but this is great. The girls up front are so sweet. I’m a guest in Eureka and I’m so impressed with the food and people. I love it here
