This was my least favourite restaurant at the resort.
The sushi rice was undercooked and quite hard, the ramen meat was overcooked and served in a very oily broth, and to top it off, there was a hair in one of my sushi rolls. If this is your first time trying sushi, it might still feel like a fun experience, but if you’re familiar with Japanese cuisine, the quality and taste may not meet your expectations.
I do want to note that the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the manager was very kind in offering us dessert to make up for the issues, which we appreciated. However, we ultimately decided to leave and dine elsewhere.
Overall, while the service was warm and professional, the kitchen execution fell short. With so many other great restaurants on the property, I would recommend spending your time at one of those instead.

Let’s get the good parts out of the way. The location is of course fantastic, the view is nothing to beat, especially at night, it’s great. If only the food was not that bad. Three of us ordered very different things, which gave us a good idea of the menu overall. This is mediocre at best. My roll had merely bits of salmon, if any. I get it it’s supposed to be a “slimmer” roll but man I was just eating rice balls with salmon bits, if you can call them bits. The fried beef roll thing was the only okay one, very saucy, probably not what you’d expect if you want real sushi, but a good option for ppl who do not want raw fish and want to try sushi. The ramen… what do I say… it’s not even as nice as how I make my instant ramen at home. The little bits of veggies, the pathetic looking noodles floating around in not appetizing looking broth… I guess I should know better but I was so disappointed given every other restaurant we tried on the property has been so great, I thought even if this wasn’t gonna be the greatest sushi restaurant ever it’d be at least halfway decent. No it’s not. Nuh uh.

The sun was setting over the Ocean. Grey cliffs in the background. Food was far more than I expected from Mexican sushi. Tender flavorful and some of the offerings brought in the local color of the area. “Taco roll” was worth experiencing. Brian and Mizrain took care of us with with both care and competency.. this is one of those that is worth experiencing potentially even if you didn’t stay at the hotel.. I can only say bravo.. did I mention they pour a good stiff drink

The sushi here was good overall, for basic rolls. But Mexican sushi does not fit, the Mexican taco flank steak roll was a bit weird in my opinion. Overall for an all inclusive it was good basic sushi, not the best but okay.

All inclusive nigiri was the best part of this place. If you have never tried sushi, this place is for you. Otherwise you may be disappointed.

The views at sunset are nice, but the rest of the restaurant is terrible with slow service and horrible food. The staff just sit on their phones and the food quality is terrible for its price. Needs a lot of work before I ever consider going again…

All inclusive Sushi! The staff are very friendly and the ‘not soy sauce’ was also very good. Not traditional Japanese rolls but a good menu with lots of options!

Unfortunately the service was not great. Food was fantastic but if you are waiting 35min for a drink and a sushi roll with no communication from the staff than it’s not worth your time or money. You might as well go downtown and pay 90% less $.
