My family & I recently discovered this local spot for sushi! Cozy cute atmosphere w/ bench seating (and did I mention local!), we really liked it! The sushi was great, we ordered the Big Papa, Volcano, U.G. Crunch, Stuffed Soft Shell Crab, Las Vegas, Hungry, & Jr, all very tasty & flavorful! – & great portions for the prices! Quick and friendly service as well. We will definitely be back!

We’ve known Tim for 18 years and his food, service and just his great personality have kept us coming back to his restaurants. We dined in yesterday and the sushi, as expected, was amazing. He is genuinely one of the nicest people I’ve ever known and good skills as a chef are incredible.
Highly recommended. Ignore that the pictures of our sushi were already partly eaten as we were too anxious to wait.

We walked from La Quinta after seeing the good reviews and it didn’t not disappoint!! Tim the owner was friendly and kind. The sushi was some of the best we have had. The no rice Plano roll with Wasabi sauce was delicious. The UG crunch roll was huge and filling!! Loved the complimentary miso soup and also that the tip suggestions prompts at the end of the check out were reasonable for a walk up and order place. I was happy to leave 20% and support this small business owner. 10/10 recommend this place!!

The best sushi in town! We are very picky about sushi places and we really loved the place. The staff is very welcoming and courteous, the food is phenomenal. We got miso soup on the house, 20% off on selected rolls, some beef pot stickers, everything was yum.

Having tried many similar places in the area, we were excited to find THIS gem right around the corner! We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Tim, and hearing about his 28 years making fantastic food.
My tuna poke had the fresh, traditional flavor I have been looking to find. My wife loved her chicken katsu and we both raved about the pot stickers and egg rolls – and she rarely eats egg rolls!
We are already talking about our next visit, and plan to be regulars!

First time in sushi sho and YOU have to go! It’s the cutest little sushi spot with amazing food. The “fish trio poke bowl” is to die for. IT WAS FIRE!! The service I received was so amazing (Thank you Tim!) and I will definitely be back again. They made me feel welcomed and gave me an amazing experience.

I ordered a side veggie fried rice, spicy salmon roll and spicy tuna roll.
Fried rice – watched the chef cut open a bag of frozen fried rice. I didn’t bother tasting as I was extremely disappointed this was not served fresh.
Spicy salmon roll – the salmon tasted gooey.
Spicy tuna roll – was not edible after initial first bite.
I did ask the chef after reviewing the fried rice if it was frozen and he confirmed. I expressed my concern and he understood and gave me a refund. He was extremely polite about the situation.
