I came for a quick dinner with my friend, had Sebastian as a server and he was beyond fabulous on his service with attention, quickness and made our experience the best possible, always checking on us.
The pork shumai was the best I ever had, the nigiri was super fresh with the rice on point, also had the tempura bagel roll that was super delicious. We are definitely coming back.

This place is a gem. The nigiri was top tier, salmon, clean tuna, and the salmon was surprisingly fresh. The miso soup and seaweed salad was fabulous!!!!! Portions were solid and presentation was beautiful. Highly recommend sitting at the sushi bar if you can.

Sushi Sake was absolutely phenomenal for our corporate event! Santiago and his entire team were superb! professional, attentive, and incredibly accommodating to every detail, including things we didn’t even know we needed. They truly transformed the space for us, and guests couldn’t stop raving about how amazing the food was. Paired with fantastic drinks and a vibrant yet polished atmosphere, the experience was flawless from beginning to end.
Highly recommend for corporate events or an unforgettable night out. Lastly , do not leave without trying the strawberry sake! Amazing

IMHO, this is a 3.5 star chain Japanese restaurant. Good, but not great. Definitely not worth the prices. IDK, in our 15k town in GA we have 2 Japanese restaurants so I have some perspective.
All that aside they do have an expansive menu with numerous choices.
Our waiter was on point and made some great suggestions. We opted for the chilled Sake sampler. Rice wine is usually hard for me to drink, but these selections were delicious. And the Shamami sampler with the Tuna, Salmon and some other fish was fresh and the presentation was nice. My seafood noodles were good. Not worth $38 bucks, but good. Good porpotions of seafood to noodles with shrimp, calamari and scallops. My wife did the chicken hibachi and it was a let down. I tried a bite after seeing her face and I agree. It just had NO flavor at all.
Not a bad meal and we would return for a quick bite if not for the prices.

I came to Sushi Sake and thought it was amazing! Even though we were apprehensive to try it given that it was a quiet night with few people, the food was excellent! The sushi was very fresh and probably the best I have had in Florida so far! The cocktails were also amazing! I will be sure to return and will recommend this place to others visiting the lauderdale by-the-sea area!

I’m new to the area, but Sushi Sake used to be one of my favorite restaurants when I lived in Miami and Hollywood. Today I tried this location and decided to order the hibachi salmon, and honestly, what I received was very disappointing. The portion of salmon was very small, and it was tough and greasy. I ordered it medium well, and this was extra well done. To be frank, we’re talking about a $30 dish. I find it ridiculous and I feel scammed.
I also ordered extra wasabi and extra soy sauce, which I was charged for, but never received. This was my first and definitely my last time ordering from this location.
It’s really sad, because I truly loved Sushi Sake.

Had lunch with my daughter for her birthday at Sushi Sake in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, and it was wonderful! The food, service, and atmosphere were all amazing. Prices are very reasonable, and the place itself is super cute.
Our server, Maria, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. They even surprised my daughter with a complimentary dessert for her birthday, which made the day extra special. Highly recommend!
