The reasoning I had given a 4 stars is because we didn’t see our server as much. She took our order, didn’t seem like they wanted to be there, gave me my salad, I had to ask another server for more ginger dressing, we needed more water had to ask another server. We weren’t checked on at all, it felt like a transaction. We assumed she was doing homework at the end of the bar or something. Other than that the owner seemed like he genuinely cared about his restaurant.
My fiance and I arrived around 8pm and were seated immediately. We were introduced by the owner himself, he said the fish comes from Miami. After we ordered we were given a sample to try of their chicken wontons which were surprisingly very good tasted handmade. I ordered the ginger salad and I love ginger dressing but I had to ask for more ginger dressing since you only get a small serving of it. We also ordered the TNT Roll, Miami Heat Roll, and the bagel roll with a side of chicken fried rice. All amazing especially the fried rice with yum yum sauce.

We went here for dinner. The place is really nice inside. The waiting staff was great. We went on Valentine’s day so the owner was giving out roses to all the ladies which was very sweet. I ordered the Buddha mocktail and my husband had the jungle cocktail and both were delicious. I loved that they had unique sushi including a Latin fishion option. I tried their calle ocho sushi which had a ham croquette, asparagus and sweet plantain on top. I loved it. The only negative thing I have to say is that the kitchen was a little slow. It wasn’t particularly busy but it seemed like they would either miss items or just slow making them. My soup came at the same time as our sushi and not with the other appetizers that were ordered. Was not bothered by this but just something to keep in mind. I will definitely be returning.

Freshest fish we have ever tasted when it comes to sushi. We started with the dynamite platter and miso egg drop soup (pure genius recipe!) which was exceptional. Our entree was the sushi platter for 2 and added the Miami heat roll. Both were very tasty especially the salmon which melted in your mouth. The owner Leo came out to our table twice to check on us and once was with a nice surprise of a mouth watering dessert! Our waiter Christian was very attentive and pleasant. Can’t wait to return to try more things!

Great experience at Sushi Sake. Walking in the atmosphere and environment is super friendly and welcoming. As a local real estate agent I love supporting the restaurants around my area. Owner and staff seem to really care about their customers experience. Food was delicious. This is the best sushi that we have had since being in Ft Myers. Food was very good and service was exceptional.
Volcano Roll is plated first, then in the boat is the Tiger Roll (2 rolls), Vanessa Roll & Marlin Roll
I will say that we were under impressed with the tempura appetizers. Shrimp and veggie. Batter was very heavy and sticky and an old oil taste. Broccoli pieces need to be smaller so center gets batter cooled. Seemed more like a beer batter.

The atmosphere is lively yet comfortable, perfect for a date night. The sushi was incredibly fresh you can really taste the quality in every bite.
The hibachi was spectacular and generous in portion.
The cocktails were well made and paired perfectly with the food. I highly recommend the Mojito, The Mandarin and Mai Tai.
To finish, we had the Thai donuts for dessert. Warm, soft, and perfectly sweet, they were the ideal ending to a great meal.

Went to Sushi Sake on a Wednesday evening, dining for 3. The interior was organized and clean. The decor was modern with a traditional Japanese style with a twist. We ordered raw and cooked sushi rolls. The presentation were beautiful and the taste of each roll was flavorful. We ordered drinks: a strawberry sake and a Pina colada. Both drink went down smooth and the taste was lovely. For the main, we had chicken, steak, and hibachi dinners. All were full of flavor and taste delicious. For dessert we had the Thai donuts with the condense milk chocolate sauce. One word, divine. Warm, soft, goodness. Throughout our dining experience, our server, Zion was attentive and made wonderful recommendations. Had a great time. Definitely coming back!
