I highly recommend doing a little homework with the menu before you head in, it’s enormous!! The servers are awesome and definitely know their menu and can make great recommendations but it’s still one of the hardest decisions we’ve made in a long time!! We each got one of the Specialty Rolls, hubby got the Dragon Roll and I got the Babymia Roll. Not only did they arrive quickly, the presentation was beautifully done. The Dragon Roll was mildly spicey, fresh and delicious. The Babymia Roll was divine!! The crunch of the macadamia was completely unexpected but delightful and the spice level was on point!! We enjoyed everything about this downtown sushi spot and will return very soon!

The food was super good – I was not expecting a whole page just for vegetarian sushi, I was so impressed and taken aback almost. There was so much variety! I appreciated it a lot as a vegetarian.
The food was amazing as well! The portions are quite big but I still finished a roll.

What a great find! Being GF, I was impressed by how accommodating the staff was! I am sushi obsessed and these guys did not disappoint! The seafood was fresh, they use real crab and provided wild salmon! Many unique dishes as well as a few familiar ones. Oh! And the little robot that brought over the dishes was just adorable! Sushi Rosa is now on my top 3 sushi spots in the Bay area!

I don’t know what I was thinking.. I didn’t take pics of our main meals, that was so good. I guess I was just excited. The atmosphere is classy, yet cool, with good vibes. Great selection of sushi, sake, and beer. The appetizer set the platform for amazing tasting spicy ramen. Try the house salad, never had anything like it before.

The food was delicious, very fresh, looked beautiful. The robot is a neat tool for delivering sushi. That’s pretty cool. There was one server literally sprinting upstairs and downstairs to try to help everybody. On one hand, we didn’t get the correct amount of silverware for the people at our table and didn’t see our server for 15 minutes at a time. On the other hand, the poor lady was trying to run the whole ship herself. So based off of one person serving an entire two-level restaurant, it would be a seven Stars out of five. As far as my actual experience receiving service not so great. If I were to do this again I would just get my food to go. Also, I have no idea who picked the music or the volume for the music but both were a bad choice. It was the strangest loudest music. We had to yell to hear each other over the table. Also heads up the miso comes in like a double wall stainless steel bowl maybe so it feels safe to eat touching from the outside but it’s way hotter on the inside.

My server was so nice and I requested a special order that they made perfectly. I can see why they get high reviews. Not too much rice and a good serving of fresh sushi fish with each roll with great service. The robot is great too.

Sushi Rosa is a nice elegant restaurant, the atmosphere is quiet. The sitting arrangement is spacious. It can be kids friendly depending on your child. You sit yourself, but the service was pretty fast, although it wasn’t too busy. There’s a lot of parking, parking garage not too far from the restaurant. But the food was top tier!

Sushi Rosa is just amazing, they get better every time I’m there. I’d purchased a gift certificate here for my daughter for her birthday and luckily it remained unused until my visit. It’s a beautiful location in a great upbeat section of Santa Rosa just down from the mall. Everyone who works there are professionals super at their jobs and very friendly. The sushi is out of this world, EVERYTHING I have tried has been perfect. I always order their special roll of the day and this time it was the Heavy Metal Roll pictured with the crushed macadamia on top. This place in my mind stands up to any of the others I’ve been to in Northern California.
