Excellent food and service. I want to really like this place but the space itself is the weak link. It feels clinically upscale and sterile. The layout leaves you exposed no matter where you sit, and it’s just not warm or inviting

Came with a friend for an early dinner. It was good. My favorite rolls were the Sweet potato tempura. The other rolls were good too. Had the Yuzu white peach to drink and the Dragons egg for dessert. We got all 3 flavors.

This is a good spot for a quick lunch! I placed a takeout order that was supposed to be ready in 15 minutes, but came out in just 10. Apin, who runs the place solo during lunch, was very friendly and even offered me a glass of water while I waited. The chicken katsu was decent, and I plan to order from them again.

Only have gotten delivery and the sushi is amazing. They do NOT cheap out on the fish, the rolls are fresh and the rice is perfectly seasoned and cooked!
The few times I’ve ordered, I’ve mostly gotten salmon rolls, Alaska rolls, or spicy tuna. All are amazing, they really pack in the fish!! And the lunch deals are unbeatable.
Highly recommend doing the 3 roll combo for lunch to get the best bang for your buck.

Initial Review: Having eaten here multiple times, I can vouch for the consistent quality of the food. It is standard fare though which you’d expect in your popular neighborhood sushi place. It is not for exciting dishes. The servers are attentive. And with 3 sushi chefs, the order came out quickly.

We came here for the first time. We got a large hot sake to kick off our dinner. It was nice and warm, but just an average quality sake. We started with their New Karaage, and it was phenomenal. The batter was thin and airy. It was crispy on the outside and the chicken thigh piece on the inside was incredibly juicy. We also got Spicy Girl Roll and Green River. The Spicy Girl Roll was quite nice. However, the Green River was a bit strange because of the black olives. I don’t think the black olives go well with raw fish. I also got a salmon roe sushi and a scallop sushi. Both sushi was very good. Especially the scallop one. It was so big, fresh and sweet. It was delicious. Last but not least, the Nabe Yaki Udon was humongous. It has scallops, imitation crab, fishcakes, broccoli, zucchini, pieces of chicken breast, carrots, an egg, and 2 pieces of tempura shrimps. The broth was nice and clear, but was a bit fishy. All the ingredients were quite nice. The scallops were nice, but I felt like there was sand in them. The broccoli was a bit mushy. The batter of the shrimp tempura was a bit thick. Otherwise, it had good value for the price. Overall, I think it’s a nice restaurant with nice servers.

I’m a generous reviewer, but I have to say that is place is absolutely terrible. First off, the atmosphere feels less like a sushi restaurant and more like a casual diner. Second off, the service and delivery times are both very slow. But worst of all, the food is terrible. The sushi is extremely fishy, leaving a bad taste in my mouth. The miso soup is also unnecessarily salty—probably the saltiest miso soup I’ve ever eaten. Not to mention the price. While the price is decent for sushi, it is DEFINITELY not worth it for the overall terrible experience we had dining at this restaurant. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

The best sushi in the neighborhood especially at this price point. Has been my go to pick up food for over a year. The owner and staff are always extremely friendly when I pick up and the food is amazing! I ate inside for the first time and ordered a glass of wine while I waited for my Togo food and the owner came over and gave me a glass on the house! Highly recommend!
