Pretty good portion size for a medium and the ratio of toppings to rice was great. Spicy mayo was yummy! Staff were nice. Plenty of parking. Adequate vegetarian option of tofu. Would recommend for a quick lunch or a smaller dinner.

Ashleigh gave excellent service and was very kind. The restaurant was clean, the food was DELICIOUS (I had a very well packed sushi burrito) and I was satisfied with the food I got. Plus I tried their Boba (strawberry kiwi green tea) and it was excellent!

We made a stop at Sushi Remix during our road trip, and it was honestly one of the best decisions we made. The food was absolutely delicious and worth every moment, but what made the experience truly special was Caylyn. She was the nicest person ever literally so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely took care of us as if we were regulars. Her kindness and energy really stood out and made our visit unforgettable. If you’re in the area, this place is a must-try, both for the amazing food and the outstanding service.

It was really good. It was my first time there. I got a Bobo drink.

I’ve been going there for over 2 years now and the food quality is always top notch and the service has been consistent and attentive.
This is always one of the first places I recommend for sushi lovers in the bay city area.

Reviews here are pretty accurate. Despite ordering face to face with the server, I still ended up with shrimp and corn in my bowl, neither of which I requested. I thought maybe it was just cross contamination from sloppy prep but it was a lot. I didn’t mind but not good if someone had allergy. The portion size was good. Fish freshness average, not the freshest but not overwhelming fishy. Restaurant was clean, but employee only remembered gloves halfway through serving, not sure what the standard protocol is. Either way, if you read other reviews this seems typical. I’m not from around here so I can’t compare locally but otherwise this place is average.

I received a letter concerning jury duty in Bay City’s federal court. I live in another county and wanted to practice driving to the court house parking lot. My husband and son, who were navigating this fiasco, chose to eat dinner at Sushi Remix. This was the first time I had seen poke bowls, which are merely deconstructed sushi rolls in my eyes. I’m a type 2 diabetic, so I took one look at the menu and I could feel my glucose levels rising. All that white rice. All that sodium. Yum. I loveeeee white rice and sushi, but I shouldn’t eat it. So I didn’t eat anything. However, my son and husband ate $15 poke bowls and enjoyed their meals very much. Sushi Remix is an extremely clean little cafe, and I would recommend it to anyone who wanted a trendy little bowl of deconstructed sushi.

Veganarific is a great vegan option! It’s lighter than the regular poke bowls I get, since I don’t recall it having rice. Very refreshing lunch

Stopped here after hearing about a different dining choice in Bay City. As a fan of sushi, I was interested but a bit overwhelmed by the choices. There is just something magical about sushi — small, carefully wrapped and presented food. The bowl presentation famous at Sushi Remix seems to discard that and I have to admit I missed it. I ordered the Californication signature bowl — it wasn’t bad. The ingredients all seemed fresh and 24 ounces is a lot of food (splitting would be a good idea). The bubble tea was also different and interesting — be sure to get a different flavored boba (the bubbles) from the main tea flavoring. All in all, a good experience; however, not a cheap one. Expect to pay $10-15 a person.

Delicious! The server described it as Qdoba but for poke. Think sushi in a bowl. I got a large bowl with tuna, salmon, and shrimp. Fresh veggies and delicious sauce. I am from out of town looking for a place to eat and glad I made the choice!
