During a recent roadtrip, I came across this cute spot for lunch. Food was fresh and great presentation. Environment felt friendly and spacious. As a New Yorker, I didn’t have much expectations for this spot in Maryland and surprisingly they exceeded my expectations in terms of food quality and services. Highly recommended for folks coming through on trips or locals as a go to sushi spot! Gentlemen at the front were responsive and client friendly to our needs.

UPDATE 1425 Under new ownership and has had time to get back to normal business when eating in. Great service, delicious food and nicely plated. Had a nice conversation with a rather new employee.
Restaurant is clean. Four booths, one table and a couple of chairs at the sushi bar. They do NOT take reservations. Not a BYOB. They do have an Adult Beverage menu. Just ask for it.
The order came out quickly. Presentation and freshness is as good as Sushi Q2. Everything was delicious.

A very small place but just because of its size does it mean that it wasn’t great.
There are only five places for you to possibly sit compared to the other locations that I’ve seen. That’s probably why it’s “2.5” LOL
The server I had was super sweet and I would love to have him as my server again he always made sure that we had refills and asked us several times if our food was good.
I really enjoyed my Christmas tree sushi and winter soup that came with udon noodles.

Found this cozy sushi spot while passing through town on a business trip in MD and decided to stop in for a quick lunch. Really glad I did. The layout is simple and efficient, and everything just feels well run.
The manager was super friendly, and the staff all seemed genuinely happy—no grumpy faces at all. That’s always a good sign, and it definitely felt like the food was in good hands.
I also liked that they have a fountain drink machine right in the lobby. The restaurant is in a plaza with plenty of parking, which is a huge plus when you’re traveling for work. Solid experience overall and I’d definitely stop by again if I’m in the area.

The lunch special was pretty good for $15. You get to choose 3 rolls, albeit small, but pretty good. You also get miso soup and ginger dressing salad. I ordered spicy tuna, spicy salmon, and spicy yellowtail. They were not spicy and were full of some kind of crunchy filler. Like tempura or something. Place was clean and people were nice.

First visit went with something simple to start. California Roll it was delicious small restaurant really quaint. Presentation of Sushi was great 3 sauces in cups not packets plus plus plus. I am definitely going back and they serve wine for dine in.

This place is good! These photos feature: (2) miso soup Maryland Roll, Spicy California roll, rock n roll, lobster roll, Shrimp and Tuna Nigiri. The total was $60. A lot of the rolls comes with 8 pieces however we got speciality rolls. The lobster roll has lettuce in it, which has a dominate taste to it (personally didn’t like that but those who do it’s good). If you do not like spicy then I don’t recommend these rolls (expect the rock n roll). The rock n roll was also not how rock n roll is usually made but either way was very good. The fish didn’t have any parasites and they handled the food well. The service was good. Be nice and they may give you a free roll.

Yummy!!! They have soooo many options to choose from! The sushi rolls are full and very tasty. The dining area is small so I wouldn’t recommend for a big party of people. Four people max to to sit comfortably. I would definitely recommend!!

My wife ordered ahead, and I picked up the order. I had the scallop dinner. I usually like scallops a lot. Scallops have a distinctive flavor. Normally, you can be blindfolded, and you’ll still know you’re eating scallops.
That was distinctly not the case with this meal. I don’t understand how SushiQ 2.5 managed to cook my scallops in such a way that I was unable to distinguish the taste of the scallops from any other poorly prepared fish product.
The rest of the meal, the veggies, the fried rice, the miso soup and the salad were tasty and delicious. So I gave two stars instead of one star.
There’s plenty of free parking out front.
