Honestly, the best sushi I’ve had in Birmingham Chef Kamal really knows his craft. I actually travelled from Oxford just to eat here and it was completely worth it. The sushi was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. You can tell a lot of care and skill goes into every piece he makes.

I had such a lovely experience at Sushi passion! The food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and everyone was so friendly. Hana was so sweet and kind, and Chef Kamal and Chef Ram made the best sushi — everything was fresh and beautifully presented. The whole team was smiling, helpful, and made me feel really comfortable. Definitely recommend!

Amazing. The food was wonderful. As a vegetarian there was an excellent selection. The quality of ingredients, recommend their jasmine tea and the sesame ice cream was something else.

We went to Sushi Passion for dinner and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant was almost full, which shows how popular it is, yet the service was still excellent. The staff were very friendly and attentive throughout.
We tried a variety of sushi, and each one was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The ambience is elegant and adds to the overall dining experience.
A great spot for authentic sushi and a lovely evening out. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely experience from start to finish!!! The atmosphere is great and very warm, and the service is very lovely! We ordered a fusion boat which included many different pieces of sushi and nigiri, variety was great. All the food was amazing and the drinks were too. I would recommend highly it’s a beautiful place with lovely food and a very calm and soothing atmosphere!!

Everything was absolutely brilliant! The sushi was delicious, with very fresh fish and plenty of it in every roll. The rice-to-fish ratio was spot on, not too much rice at all. Overall, everything was simply superb. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be coming back! ✨

Booked with a group of 9 people, incredible food, friendly service and welcoming vibe and they accommodated us fully. The california roll was amazing and the chicken gyoza was so flavourful. The price is actually cheap for sushi of such high quality. 10/10 would recommend.

Absolutely fantastic! We were given a warm welcome and quickly led to a table. Drinks followed shortly after while we browsed the menu. The menu contained images of each dish, which was really helpful. We chose several dishes and it wasn’t long before they arrived.
The food was incredible, especially the salmon panko futomaki – it was delicious, tasted fresh and was clearly cooked to order (you can see the chefs at work in the small kitchen).
The restaurant itself had a lovely cosy feel to it, with stylish decor and good-sized tables. In terms of utensils, I only saw chopsticks at the table – fair enough, given it’s a sushi restaurant! I’m just noting it in case you aren’t completely comfortable using them. I’m sure forks are available somewhere but luckily I was able (just about) to get by. One day I’ll master chopsticks!
This was an easy five-star review to write. We loved it here and will be back to try more items from the menu. The prices were reasonable for the location too.
