Sashimi Moriawase platter was great for two people to share and enjoy a wide variety of sashimi. Butter fish was amazing and pickled daikon so refreshing!

I have been going to Sushi Park for 15 years since the first month they opened. This is my go to sushi spot throughout the entire Bay Area. I’ve tried countless other restaurants over the years and still feel nothing else compares to Sushi Park. The quality of fish is outstanding. Each roll, sauce, and arrangement is created by the staff. The service has always been amazing as well. They come to check on you regularly to get refills of water even when they are crowded. The head sushi chef Andy is also an amazing artist. He did the two paintings on the right wall as you come in!!
I will be going to this restaurant for the rest of my life. I go there for every birthday and special occasion.
If you need recommendations for starters I highly recommend the fried calamari, tempura mushroom, or/and salmon belly.
For Rolls I recommend the Double Sake, Samurai, Firecracker Ball, and Shiki.
For Vegetarians the fried mushroom starter is amazing as well as the veggie veggie and veggie tempura rolls.

Finding great sushi is always an adventurous journey…
While Sushi Park didn’t quite hit the mark, I can’t rave enough about the service! The ladies who work here are so nice and are very attentive to all of their guests. My twin boys (4) were treated so well and were even given a belated birthday Mango Mochi Ice Cream.
So while the food wasn’t the highlight, it does not mean it wasn’t good, it was decent. Based on food alone, it’s a solid 6.5/10, but when you factor in the staff, I’d give them a 8.5/10, with the staff as the highlight!

Average. No a/c, as many small eateries in Oakland. Saving energy vs comfort of dining. The weather in San Francisco cool, a/c isn’t really necessary.
Food is average as well.
The neighborhood feels calm and neat but is there is a bullet at the store next door?

We’ve been eating here for years, and the fish is always fresh and expertly prepared. We especially love the Fire Cracker Ball, Joy Roll, and Spicy Geisha Roll. Additionally, the staff is exceedingly kind. A great place to dine in or take out.

Some of the best sushi I’ve had in Oakland. Great service, generous portions, fresh and absolutely delicious! GF and I shared the tempura appetizer and the Ichiban and Spicy Geisha rolls. Plenty of food for two people. Highly recommend!

Update: Still so-so for me
Not bad but nothing to write home about. My Amaebi head was not crispy enough. In fact, it was downright chewy. The Maguro Sashimi and the rest of the sushi were pretty fresh.

Quaint, small business. Nice and reliable service. Big portions, fresh fish, great flavor. My only caution would be trying too many of the special rolls in the same visit. The special rolls are great, exciting, tasty, offering new combinations that you do not see on other sushi menus. However, they are complex and have multiple flavor layers which can cause the pallet to lose the essence of the simplicity of enjoying sushi for the flavor of simply raw fish.
