I had the shrimp and vegetables. They need to work on their sauce. The sushi on the other hand was amazing. Very good very fresh. Small inside but looks like most of its business was carryout. A steady stream of customers the entire time I was there.

It’s not listed on their menu, but you can request “Black Pepper chicken. ” Super good. Nice, friendly staff.
Good, plump sushi rolls. I’ve been going here for years and always enjoy their food.

Used to eat here regularly when I worked on that side of town. Called on a whim passing through today and they had the order ready in 5 mins. Prices have gone up a little but they have everywhere else, as well. They offer lunch deals for Chinese and Japanese. Both cuisine are delicious, never had any issues. Really love their ginger dressing, it’s so fresh with Chunks of real ginger – so different from everywhere else in town. You can eat in but most people take out. There’s a small parking lot but never had an issue finding a space. Staff are friendly and quick, everything’s right and delicious. Check them out and support local.

Some of the best sushi I’ve had in a long time. If your looking for a local place that’s good and decent pricing, this is the place to go. The seating area is small but the quality of the food makes up for it. They do have take-out, which while I was there many people came to pick-up their food. Will definitely be back again!

What a great family meal! We ate in the restaurant. Great service and fabulous food. We had a few lunch specials for less than $10 each. Great sugar doughnuts, dumplings and ‘tea sauce’ with shrimp and beef. The vegetables were crisp, not soggy. The chili oil was spicy buy not obnoxious. The restaurant dine in space is small, with 5 tables (four tops), and the server was prompt.

I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant! It is by far my favorite place to get sushi in town. Staff is always very nice and happy to help. I love how fresh their ingredients are, everything is always hitting. For the price, the Sushi Deluxe is such a value that I am always happy to come back for more. A lot of their special rolls are so creative and delicious! They also do Chinese food, and though I have had less of it, it is also quite nice.
I’ll be back again and again, and if I’m looking for excellent fresh sushi, this is where I go.

It was a nice place, but the standards and upkeep have slipped severely. After COVID, the main sit down eating area is no longer welcoming. It’s been hoarded by their supplies and stock with employees sitting around and doing paperwork like it’s an office space. We used to love coming here as a family and spending time. But now, we go elsewhere for a better local atmosphere and service.
PLEASE CLEAN UP YOUR SPACE!!

What a pleasant surprise this little place turned out to be. We’re not sushi people so it took us about 8 years of living very close nearby to realize that they have other Chinese cuisine as well. And they did not disappoint. Everything was freshly made and delicious. It’s a very small place, so most people take out. But we found it just fine to eat inside. Very friendly people.

Do not be fooled when you arrive at Sishi Pallax because the Chefs on duty are serious. I ordered Unagi and Salmon nigiri and Hunan Shrimp and Scallops with Chicken Fried Rice. I know Asian cuisine and I know Sushi. Let me tell you that the traffic was nonstop and the needed a receptionist. This was 7:30 pm not lunch rush. The was so delicious that I called back to the restaurant and told them that I was passing through and Googled Asian restaurant but I will definitely stop by the next time I’m in Hagerstown, MD.

Got takeout for dinner through delivery, ordered from their website and did have to pay additional for delivery. I ordered Salmon teriyaki bento box and shrimp teriyaki (no bento). The Bento has shumai and a California roll as a plus. Overall, the food was good, but I think the teriyaki had too many onions. I would have preferred more carrots and broccoli. The salmon didn’t have anything other than onions in it. It was very nice of them to include the tempura as a bonus, which I didn’t order. There were vegetable pieces and two shrimp tempura pieces, so they were quite generous. The miso soup and salad were standard. Since the restaurant is a combined Chinese and Japanese food place, they included fortune cookies, which is cute. Next time, I think I’d like to go in person and try out their various sushi options.
