Sushi O’Mine in Welland absolutely deserves nothing less than five stars across the board — five stars for service, five stars for food, and five stars for vibe.
From the moment we ordered, the people there were incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional. The staff are genuinely nice and make you feel appreciated as a customer, which goes a long way. We ordered takeout, and everything was handled with care — our food was beautifully and securely packaged, fresh, and perfectly presented when we got home.
Now let’s talk about the food — outstanding. Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients. You can really taste the care and craftsmanship that goes into their sushi. It completely hit the spot and exceeded expectations.
The vibe of the place is also amazing — even when ordering to go, you can tell it’s a spot that values quality, cleanliness, and customer experience.

I ordered the Spicy salmon dragon roll, Hamachi freak roll and Chicken teriyaki yaki udon. When I called to order I was a bit surprised that the wait was almost 2 hours HOWEVER, do not let the long wait times discourage you from trying this place!!! It was 100% worth the wait. I can only guess that the wait times are so long because they have so many orders. The food was amazing. The noodles were still piping hot when I got home and the sushi tasted amazing. My boyfriend who usually doesn’t like sushi absolutely loved the spicy salmon dragon roll. I will be ordering from here in the near future.

Great sushi at a decent price. Me and my girlfriend got the salmon party tray and weren’t disappointed. It was honestly the best sushi either of us had ever had. Staff is super nice and welcoming and over just a great experience, would definitely recommend.

Fave sushi place in the area! The 1st time we ordered here and I really enjoyed their spicy salmon also my 1st to eat raw salmon and I never thought it was! I tried to order the same spicy salmon on other stores but I can say Sushi O’Mine has the best spicy salmon! Unicorn is also a must try! I enjoyed the mix of flavor and I can’t wait to try more!

Okay, so I only order here for lunch as I work in the city but don’t live there.
Wow. Just wow. There was not one proper sushi place in town and this one popped up and was like, okay, I gotta give it a try.
Did not disappoint. I ordered about 5x now since Nov 2025….if the lunch specials are this amazing, including the ramen…I can’t wait to order a platter for dinner on my lazy nights off.
Not only are the plates aesthetically pleasing, but you get the whole shabam. Miso soup, and a side of salad with the main. Usually order sashimi lunch b, but I vary it up. You get what you pay for too. I usually give the rest of my sushi to a coworker bc I can’t finish the rest.
And the staff are so kind to top it off. They take extra care from plating and preparing the dish and bagging it. I actually love to see them work. So meticulous and detailed.
I’m so glad to have this staple in Welland now.

We order here every few weeks. Same thing everytime(kani salad, fended roll and Gibson roll). It’s always consistent, fresh, and delicious.

We tried Sushi O’Mine and were very impressed in every way! We are sushi snobs and the selection and quality are top notch. They are a welcome addition to Welland, and perhaps a little too close to us as it will be hard to resist going back again and again ;). The staff are friendly and helpful, but be warned, wait times are long due to it being so busy, so order ahead. Thanks for coming to Welland!

This is by far the best sushi in Niagara. Huge rolls with great flavour. Would love if they brought in dinning but will drive from anywhere for this. Pretty sure they’re family run too. Call well ahead of dinner to make sure they can help you 🙂

No problems parking but you have to enter this place through the main building and not where you see their store sign. Just follow their stickers and you’ll get to the place. The place is 3 places in one… while the other place has the lovely windows, the food here is fresh, well prepared and presented and service is attentive. We all enjoyed our meals and would come back here if we were in the neighborhood. They should say in the menu that some of the sushi was torched because I think torched sushi tastes better and if I knew it was torched maybe I would have ordered that instead of the soup and sushi meal.
