We drove 45 minutes to have the Omakase here to celebrate 11 years of marriage. Make sure to call to make a reservation if you want the Omakase too. It’s expensive but very worth it! The flavors were novel and incredible, the presentation was so cool and memorable. It was the right amount of food, I was full but not uncomfortably. Oma gets the importance of good, well prepared rice. Too many sushi places make awful rice and should be ashamed. Not the case here! Parking was ok, drove around a bit before we found a garage. Service was great and attentive. It was very loud in there so fairly hard to hear the chef. The lighting wasn’t great so the pictures are the best I could do. Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo of the Nigiri course! Definitely a great way to celebrate.

The food hall where this sits is pretty dope, but I was unimpressed after the hype about this sushi. It was seriously lacking.
The California roll looked like someone ran and grabbed it from Safeway, it was terrible. The Volcano roll (baked roll with spicy tuna, salmon,
topped with spicy mayo sauce, eel
sauce, sriracha sauce) was decent in comparison but not anything too memorable.
I think I chose the wrong restaurant, the food from the Asian fusion BBQ Chicken spot looked better in hindsight. Maybe worth another try.

First off, the sushi was absolutely amazing! I had the Godzilla roll and honestly, it was the best I’ve ever had. Second, the workers were so nice. It was in a food hall, so there are food options for all. I would 10/10 recommend!

Sushi Oma is a booth in The Block at Pike & Rose. The staff were friendly, the sushi was good. Too much waste with all the packaging, as there was no dine-in option. The vibe of the place is young/party…too much for my middle-aged self. I would eat the sushi again, but I would not go back to The Block by choice. There are many other good sushi spots.

One of my favorite sushi places in Montgomery County, along with Kenaki. Really good toro and kanpachi. Definitely get the Alaskan Beauty Roll and the Crunchy Fire Roll as well. Definitely will return!

Pretty solid! Wished the special roll was a bit bigger as we had to order another dish to feel full, but other than that would recommend this place! My fav was the chicken yakitori

The alaskan beauty roll is SO good. The salmon is very fresh and the crunchy tempura flakes in the middle makes it even better

My family was in the mood for sushi, so we decided to try out Sushi Oma. We ordered the oysters, dragon roll, volcano roll, crunchy fire roll, and sashimi. Food was great! The volcano roll had a nice kick to it, so if you like spicy food I’d recommend. Presentation was great, looked visually appetizing before digging in. Prices were fair for the quality. Would highly recommend. I plan on going soon.

Had the crab Rangoon, eel, spicy tuna, and lovers roll. The food was very fresh and prepared well. This was definitely the best sushi I’ve eaten in a while. The staff was very nice, too.

I absolutely love this place, they’re located in The Block. I’m simple when it comes to sushi, so I get mainly the spicy sushi/tuna and avocado roll with the chicken yakitori and everything just hits the spot. The employees are very nice. They have a tiny space to sit down, but since they’re in the block, you can eat at the cocktail bar in the food hall. One caveat is, they charge $1 for spicy mayo. Apart from that, I love this place.
