My first time stopping by with my friend that highly recommends Sushi Ohana. I was very impressed with the size and freshness of the salmon, hamachi and avocado with tempura shrimp rolls. Great prices too. I mean, glistening, fresh, large tender salmon nigiri for $3.75 a plate (2 pieces)??!! And I thought everyone working there was friendly even when I was making special requests. I’ll be back soon. Recommended!!

I wanted to like this place, but the sushi was just off. The fish tasted totally fine– not the best and not the worst I’ve had (if anything, maybe some of the cuts like the tuna were a bit chewy). However, the real problem is the rice to fish ratio on the nigiri. I have no idea what kind of molds they are using to form the form the rice for their sushi, but the ratio is just entirely off. I wish I had figured out a way to take a photo that could better communicate the scale, but the rice balls beneath the fish were seriously huge. If this spot figured out their rice portioning I think I would have liked it better, but given the fact that there are so many other good sushi spots in Portland it’s hard to consider coming back (which is too bad because the restaurant itself is very nice, the staff are friendly, and the fish is decent enough to my taste).

Awesome sushi boat! The salmon nigiri was especially divine. Wasabi was proper hot and they had tamari for my gluten free diet.

Just a fun place. It’s not the best sushi, but I’ve never had anything bad here either. I take so many people here for happy hour just to get a quick bite

I’ve been to many sushi places in the state of Oregon, especially Portland, but this place is just like the others. Just another common sushi place. Not bad, not good, but mediocre. It’s a place you’d go if you’re nearby and craving sushi quickly, straight off the train.

Food: 2/5
This place hasrubber chicken and mediocre “crab”. That sums it up. But, if you’re just out for a night in the town craving seaweed salad and tamago, this is your place. I got the California Roll and Seaweed Salad. The California Roll really wasn’t anything special, I had better at other places. The Seaweed Salad on the other hand was amazing, I’d go as far and say delectable. It was juicy and made correctly. My acquaintances got the chicken noodles. She said the chicken was dry. I had a taste and I agreed, it was also rubbery. My other acquaintance got the Seared Salmon and liked it. Obviously the food wasn’t anything special, but serves its purpose.

Service: 3/5
The service here has some really nice and patience waiters. Though there is one big thing I need to mention, and the reason I gave it a 3: The language barrier. Waiters speak a little bit of English, and had trouble
trying to hear what my acquaintances were saying, leading to one of them getting lemonade, instead of their “Ramune”. But, they were very nice overall.

Atmosphere: 4/5
Besides the “okay” food, the atmosphere was really nice. They had Japanese paintings of people, scriptures, and nice lighting. The only reason this isn’t a 5 is because it feels very cramped inside.

I’m usually not into conveyor belt sushi but I had ordered from this place on Ubereats and was impressed, so I visited it in person. The quality of the food is very good, and you an even order if you want something specific, just ask! After many of my other favorite sushi places shut down this has become my sushi of choice in Portland.

Delicious sushi for a very competitive price. Loved all the varieties of sushi we tried. However didn’t like the Shrimp Udon and Miso soup. Service was very very poor. Servers were indifferent to customers and behaved very weird. Anything we ordered (that was not on the belt) took almost 15 minutes to arrive. Very difficult to find parking. They have a few parking spots which are almost always full. We had had to park at a free parking which was 3-4 minutes walking distance from the restaurant.

I love sushi ohana! Great service and food is delicious. Conveyor belt style, but also offers call ahead for take out! I live close and always call in for pick up. Food is made fresh and ready within 15-20 minutes tops! Fun to sit down and eat too. Not a huge indoor seating area but can fit quite a bit of customers. Love the poke and all other items on the menu. Never had anything I did not like. Highly recommended

-First time here and food was good, place was not full for a weekend lunch, would be back for the happy hour.
-Only thing I didn’t like was, I ordered mussels and they took to long to get to me, and when I received cheese was hard.
-There’s parking next to building $4, or you can park by the street for free.

I go there at least once a week for happy hour and it is consistently good! You can get quite satiated without spending a fortune – it’s a great lunch option!
