AAA+ We are from the coast and had plenty, and I mean darn near weekly sushi for 20 years over there. We would have to say that this place ranks top 3 of them all, especially for sashimi. I also must add that the customer service is A-1 and are super kind, welcoming, and friendly. Go. Now! The photos are take out of the Deluxe Combo, and the Spicy tuna roll combo.

This isn’t just my favorite sushi restaurant in the Kootenays, this might just be my favorite sushi restaurant I’ve ever been to!
I came here on what might just be the hardest day of my life so far, I had just said goodbye to my old lady kitty and came here to cheer myself and offer food in her honour. Despite going through something so difficult today I found myself eating more than I thought I could, I just had to try everything!
The only thing I could complain about was I couldn’t tell from the outside if they were open or not, the open sign in the window wasn’t turned on and they have some strong blinds on some of the windows. Inside it made for a calming atmosphere, however
Pro tip, the servings on the nigiris we ordered were huge, so I might order some of those next time instead of just the sashimi

I’ve been coming here for years, and I honestly can’t recommend it enough. The food is consistently incredible, always fresh, and packed with flavour.
Tonight, I went in on a crazy busy Friday, I didn’t mind waiting an extra ten minutes for my order because all good things take time. When my food was ready, they ran it out to me with a free gyoza as a gesture for the wait, which was such a thoughtful touch. It made my night and it was so delicious.
The owners and staff are lovely people who are always so kind. Highly recommend eating here!!

Favourite Sushi Hands Down!
No other sushi place compares
My favourite order is Crazy Girl Roll, Volcano Roll, Crunch Roll, Salmon Roll and Granby River Roll. You really can’t go wrong with anything they serve. Always fresh and delicious.
The only downside is that I’m not a fan of their spicy tuna and that used to be my favourite thing to order at other sushi places. Also, I always seem to want sushi when they are closed! Sundays and Mondays

We were staying in Christina Lake and decided to order takeout from this sushi restaurant in Grand Forks. We ordered on a Saturday, they were quite busy with orders but it just took an hour. We ordered a mix of regular rolls and special rolls including the Five Guys roll, Crazy Girl roll, Christina Lake roll. Sushi was pretty fresh and really tasty! Prices were reasonable. Would definitely come back again in the future!
