we have been coming to this restaurant for over 6 years and we are never disappointed! the sushi is great, the salads are great, the bento boxes/lunch specials are very fair portions, and they offer some great desserts too!! the atmosphere is calming and low light perfect for an intimate moment or a relaxed night with friends. service is quick and prices are fair, last time we went the portions actually INCREASED!! definitely worth a try

This is one of my favorite places in Edison to get awesome sushi! Everything always tastes super fresh! They’re fish is soft, clean, and doesn’t need a ton of sauce to shine. The Salmon-Tini and Sweet Home Roll were amazing! But you can’t go wrong with anything from there menu. Their rolls have great flavor without being overloaded. Even their rice dishes are on point.
Service as usual was friendly, the vibe is relaxed, and the food came out at a nice pace. Overall, really tasty sushi and a spot I always come back to!

Based by most of these reviews being 5 stars and positive about this place, made me think we were in for a great time. But let me tell you about my experience…
First, this restaurant is super dark, can barely see where you’re going. But that might be more of a personal preference.
Second, the food quality.. we ordered a small sushi boat, chicken teriyaki for our toddler, and chicken lo mein. The quality and taste for all of it seemed off. The chicken looked soggy and unseasoned and the teriyaki sauce was just plopped on top. My toddler is a big foodie and she refused to eat it. The lo mein was very bland and too oily. The sushi boat presentation was pretty decent, but it was definitely not fresh, We got food poisoning from it. We’ve been sick for 2 days.
Third, I will say that the wait staff was very attentive and nice. We got seated right away with no reservation.
We are truly very disappointed with this place. We know the Asian cuisine very well through exploration and traveling to these countries. I’m sorry to say, This was by far the worst place we’ve been to.

My family recently moved to the area, saw the 5stars reviews, so I brought my family there for my kids birthday dinner today, everything we ordered were so delicious, their fish quality was the best in all the sushi restaurants we’ve been to. I have a picky eater kid, she’s really happy with her birthday dinner. Their menu has lots a choices, and the price is fair. The service was great too, the waitress served us was so kindly, we will definitely come back again.

Fresh Sushi. This place is one of those small restaurants that has really good food and service! The atmosphere is quiet, and quaint. I had difficulty deciding what sushi roll to get because all of them looked so good! I ordered Thai sweet and spicy soup as appetizer which was low to med level spicy, and it had fresh vegetables that weren’t soggy. For lunch entree I ordered one of the signature sushi rolls, and it was so fresh. There was adequate pickled ginger and wasabi on the plate too. During my meal they kept my hot green tea cup filled. I am happy to support this local, small business! I will definitely be back!

This place was great! The sushi tasted delicious , my favorites were the Forest Roll (eel) and the Monster Roll (crab). We also loved the fried ice cream to top everything off. Atmosphere was relaxing and service was friendly. Shoutout to Bella for having kind and positive energy!

Sushi O is my weekly go to place for 5 years, I can say they have the best food in town after I tried every others, their foods are always fresh, amazing customer service, warm atmosphere, great food presentation, unbeatable menu prices for the generous portion of the food.
