Excellent food and service for our first visit tonight.
Annie was a wonderful server who was helpful with suggestions and attentive during the meal without hovering. She was patient and friendly.
The gentleman up front was a wonderful host, able to seat us quickly despite the rush on a Friday evening.
We ate the Poseidon and Divergence rolls, both cooked rolls, and they were delicious. I enjoy the crunch of a cooked roll, but we also had the sashimi appetizer which was fresh and fantastic. Everything we ate was well made and reasonably priced.
My companion drank the Snow Tiger, which she enjoyed as it was sweet and creamy. I stay away from alcohol and enjoyed two cups of the genamaicha tea. The roasted flavor was a nice compliment to the meal.
We forgot to get mochi so we will of course need to come back. Dinner was more than worthy of a return trip and I recommend taking a trip here.

wonderful restaurant, the food came out quick and there was hardly a wait! it was all delicious and so well priced. it was so lovely and a warm inviting environment! would definitely recommend and will be coming back soon!

I ordered Teriyaki bowl and firecracker sushi and it was fantastic! I would say one of the best Japanese resto in Frederick MD! Highly recommend! Can’t wait to try their ramen next time. 🙂

I haven’t tried the entire menu, but here are ones I’ve tried and highly recommend for others. Truffle ramen, it has its own character because of the truffle oil, but more importantly it has a depth of flavor that should satisfy most ramen enthusiasts. For me personally, it’s one of the better bowls of ramen I’ve had around the DMV. Shrimp tempura is done very well. Any dish that has this is a winner. The katsu dishes are also very well done. Great flavor and cook on them. Sushi was good too, but I personally thought the kitchen dishes were a relative level higher and the real star. Service was super attentive and friendly too. A real gem for those that haven’t discovered this restaurant yet.

This restaurant was my first time and it was a-ma-zing! We love pork gyoza and the firecracker suishi. The fried Chicken (appetizer) was crispy and delicious with the dipping sauces. We’re from Hedgesville, WV and we love this place as our Suishi stop in Frederick, MD.

Great place! Their katsu don with the house sauce was amazing. Perfect amount of spice, right amount of crispiness! Husband said the tonkotsu ramen and philly roll was great too. Their tea cups and plates reminded me of the ones we saw in Japan. Will definitely come back again!

Very good quality food, outstanding service, great atmosphere, and awesome prices for what you get. Plenty of parking in front of the restaurant. Best ramen and sushi in the Frederick area hands down. Our favorite spot for sure!

Everything about this place was perfect. We had the pleasure of having Oat, hopefully that is the correct spelling, for our waiter. He was so kind and welcoming. He made suggestions on things we should try from food to wine to dessert and all were fantastic. The restaurant itself was incredibly clean including the bathrooms. It was one of the best restaurants I have been to in a very long time. Prices seemed high when looking at them but the quality and taste made them 100% worth it. Absolutely recommend this place to everyone!
