Went to this place to get a Bento Box to go. Had the beef rib one. Everything was great while the beef itself was just ok. Mine was very chewy and kind of tough with a lot of fat. Some people might prefer that.
The tempura, rice and everything else was really good though. My friends had the chicken versions and they really like it.

Came in for lunch with a friend and got the lunch special. I think it was a good deal and the sushi was really good. Overall the food was of very good quality. However, the cashier was rude as hell and rolled her eyes at my friend.

Pleasant surprise! Incredibly delicious and fresh! So glad I decided to give them a try tonight! The sushi was so fresh and had an abundance of flavour. The Miso Soup was probably the best I’ve had in Whitby/Durham Region. Loved the Chicken Karaage – perfectly cooked and each bite was just so fresh tasting! Perfect take out meal!

I’m not sure how this place is getting such high reviews, but having been there I can say that the sushi quality rivals that of a cheap AYCE posing as à la carte. Had the karaage bento box, the chicken looked and tasted nothing like karaage but instead were popcorn chicken. The box includes a mound of rice, 6 California rolls and a miso, which is measly for the price when most places include gyoza and/or noodles The katsu bento comes with no brown curry sauce, so we didn’t bother. Salmon rolls are as tiny and taste like grocery store rolls. Overall, none of the 3 of us enjoyed any part of order except the mixed tempura which was delicious. Overall we wouldn’t return or recommend given the number of better spots that have been popping up in Durham.

We stopped in a week or so after opening to pick up their Party Tray A. Service was friendly and efficient! The rolls were fresh, well prepared and had a couple of flavour combinations I hadn’t had before from other local sushi spots.
I wish they used dividers between the rolls as they tended to stick together and made them fall apart, that was my main gripe.
Overall it’s a nice addition to the local sushi scene.
