Went for our 2nd time yesterday. Great food both times, and do want to be coming back, as there’s a lot on the menu that sounds pretty good and I have yet to try. I don’t remember the service last time, but this time we were the only ones in the place, and our server failed to note the low level on our drinks as the counter is high and they were sitting in a short chair behind it, so they didn’t see over the counter. So, the only improvements I would recommend are a little more attentiveness after we get our meals AND it would be nice to have the little dishes other sushi places have so as to have a place to mix soy sauce with the wasabi for dipping. Again, excellent food with the desire to try more of their rolls and entrees. Would be 5-star but for these two easily made improvements.

My husband and I came here for the first time today. There has not been another Sushi restaurant in town that has had this large of a portion of teriyaki chicken for $13.50. Their service gives you a small town feel. The owners are sweet, and have amazing customer service. We will be back weekly for our sushi fix! Definitely recommend this cute lil place!

Only place for great ramen in town! I believe there’s only one other restaurant in town that serves ramen and it’s lacking in comparison to this one. My sisters and I went out for a quick bite to eat and loved the cozy atmosphere and quick service. I got the tonkatsu ramen which was presented beautifully and delicious. My sisters got the some sushi rolls that they described as fresh and flavorful. For sure worth checking out this cute hole in the wall spot.

First time eating here. Overall, the food was good. Service was great. The reason for 4 star versus 5 star is the vegetable tempura was bland and the sweet potatoes were a bit undercooked. Love that they have ginger right on the table because we use a lot. Will be back! Lunch special is great with 2 rolls, soup and salad.

Great spot to get authentic Japanese food. The chicken katsu and potato croquettes are excellent. Service is always quick and friendly.
Only downside to the location is the parking lot is very narrow and some people struggle to navigate through it when most spots are taken. Parking on the side street is often the best choice.

Wow. I am so glad we gave this place a try! I was blown away by the quality of sushi. Everything we ordered was fresh and full of flavor. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and not only was the food delicious, but the service was amazing too! We ordered salmon nigiri, blackened tuna nigiri, crisp salmon roll, hanna roll, caterpillar roll, wolfbite roll, and the fireworks roll. Everything was great, but my favorites were the blackened tuna nigiri and crisp salmon roll. We will be back 🙂

This was a take out order so commenting on service and atmosphere really isn’t applicable.
But for the food, specifically specialty rolls, meh.
Ordered a couple options from the tempura category, shrimp and salmon, and there was tempura. There was no light, crispy, deep-fried seafood in either. What I got tasted okay but was uninteresting and mostly unidentifiable.
If this is indeed the best sushi in Mcminnville, I’ve discovered yet another shortcoming in Mcminnville. Other then an abundant number of wine tasting rooms (a few being really good), there really aren’t any other standout venues in this town.

Great little place to get sushi at a great price. Food service is fast, but about a D. After you receive your food you’re pretty much on your own. We usually have to get up and ask for what we need, and we always have to do the same to get our check. The same employee is usually on her cellphone , acts like we are an inconvenience and never smiles (we don’t need a smile, just be polite)
If you are coming for great food + good service, not the place. If service doesn’t matter the food is an A+
