Sushi Nine is a solid spot for fresh sushi and a relaxed dining experience. The rolls are well made, flavorful, and consistently fresh, with a good balance of classic options and creative combinations. Portion sizes are fair for the price, and the menu has enough variety to please both sushi lovers and those who prefer cooked dishes.
The atmosphere is modern and comfortable, making it a good choice for casual dinners or small group outings. Service is friendly and attentive without feeling rushed. Overall, it’s a dependable go-to place for quality sushi and Asian cuisine, and definitely worth coming back to.

I had a great time at Sushi Nine with my cousins! The atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Everything came out quickly, and the sushi tasted amazing. It was the perfect place to relax, enjoy good company, and eat great food. Definitely a spot I’d visit again!

What a great place to celebrate getting a degree from NCSU. The service was excellent. For a big open dining room it was quiet. We all had excellent meals and everyone found something special they liked. I will come back and try some new dishes that had beautiful presentation.

Sushi nine continues to deliver a solid experience every time. The menu has a great variety, the sushi is fresh and well-prepared. The service has always been friendly and efficient.
One detail that stood out during our most recent visit was the bathroom. While it was clean upon arrival, the trash bin was full and paper towels had been discarded on the floor. By the time we left, the issue had been addressed.
Overall, this reinforces Sushi Nine as a dependable spot that we’re always comfortable coming back to.

This sushi bar is amazing! They prepared the best hibachi beef I have ever had in my life. The fried rice was cooked to perfection and the yum yum sauce was spectacular. We all ordered a lot of sushi as well! My sister got the pork belly ramen, and she melted from the flavoring and fell in love with it. The sushi was so delicious and I can’t imagine having to eat sushi anywhere else. Our server was so nice and helpful as well. Compliments to everyone working the sushi bar and back in the kitchen for this amazing experience as we are visiting from rural Virginia! Hoping to come back another trip down here

I worked near Sushi Nine for over a decade and have tried a bunch over the years. While the sushi has always been good, don’t sleep on the entrees! The pho, pad thai, thom kha ramen are great options too.

Really big sushi restaurant that feels a bit more commercialized sports bar and loud than typical sushi places. Plenty of parking. Clean restroom. Staff are very pleasant and attentive, wait was only 10 minutes for an early dinner. Sushi is good (not the best fish cuts unlike going to other smaller sushi places and not the most unique sauce flavors) but the BOGO deal is worth it to get full. Lot of fried options which means the sushi is very hot (warm) and appetizers too.

The sushi is super fresh. Great menu that includes Thai, hibachi and Chinese options. Most of the sushi is buy one get one. We got 4 rolls and two soda’s for $41. They don’t take reservations but the place is huge so we’ve never waited long.

Sushi Nine was a great dining experience. I ordered the Spicy Basil Fried Rice, two sushi rolls – North Carolina (top), Sweet Dragon (bottom), and had the calamari and edamame as appetizers. The fried was amazing and the medium spice level provided a nice kick without being unbearable. I appreciated the fact that the sushi menu had BOGO options, which I took advantage of. Both rolls were delicious so I couldn’t pick a favorite. The calamari was decent but not the best I’ve had, I did appreciate the salt & pepper seasoning though.
Service was good and the ambiance of the restaurant was nice, not too loud or awkwardly quiet. The dining area was a clean, open space with a bar.
