I liked it at first. Food presentation, great. Staff, great. However, the restaurant was very warm and when I ate the Tuna sushi, I started feeling sick. According to the doctor I have Herring Worm and have been very ill. I don’t know how the rest of the food is, but DO NOT EAT THE TUNA! The Mango Rice dessert is very good, which is why I gave it two-stars. I was hoping this place would be great, but getting me sick is negative.

I came here with zero expectations and left with a happy family in tow. I didn’t expect such epic options on the menu. From the ramen to the sushi to the drinks, all unique and eye catching. We went the apps and sushi route. All fresh, generous portions, delicious and at a value that was easily digestible. But what really put this place over the top was the bar service. WOW. I order a cocktail refill, that thing was there in moments and of similar strength and flavor to the previous. Sushi, apps and drinks 10/10. The atmosphere though is that of an all you can eat dining hall at NC State…but who cares. Come have some casual, upscale Asian-inspired food, with awesome drinks at a decent price.

We celebrated our daughter’s graduation at Sushi Nine. We wanted good food and sushi nine did serve us awesome food. The spice level can be really high so select with caution. But our family loved it. We had an exchange student from Thailand and she said this is good. So I guess we will visit again soon.

I ordered this food online, paid a $5 delivery fee plus a delivery tip, it took an hour and 45 minutes to get delivered, and then when I opened my container of food, I was immediately hit the face with the strongest fishy smell coming from the crab in their August special roll. The appetizer I decided to get was the crispy rice tuna and that tasted like the tuna was bad, as well. I’m scared to even take a bite of the sushi rolls I ordered because of the smell. Safe to say, I will not be returning.

Best sushi in Raleigh so glad I found this place . It was busy and my food came out pretty quick. The parking is the only bad thing but it was because we came at dinner time. I recommend the sushi it’s Great!! Price is super good for quality and quantity!

Sushi nine is a great place for casual dining with friends and family. However the only problem I face whenever I visit this place with family is parking. You never get parking at Sushi nine parking lot and one has to park on the street. Also inside the dining hall, it’s a large open space and due to large glass windows, there is no sound proofing leading to lot of noise. At times, one has to scream to talk. Sushi nine needs to address this issue. Service and food is always upto the mark.
