Friendly staff and quick service! I got the Crazy Devil sushi and absolutely loved it! It’s spicer than somewhere else in town that serves a sushi roll by the same name, which I’m glad for – this might become my new favorite sushi place! I’ll certainly be back soon!
I got the kung fu panda roll with 1,2,3 sauce instead of 1,3,6 the other day too and loved it!

Well-worth the price and high quality dishes. Nigiri is $8-10 for 2 pieces and is very fresh. Scallop and Unagi were phenomenal. The sashimi was also thick (thicker than what I am used to in NYC or Korea) and filling. Finished with the udong, which was also great. The noodles were just rightly cooked where the noodles are tender but not flimsy.

I love this place! Great service and freshest sushi! Everything is made hot to order and the wait is like 5-10 minutes! portions is perfect and price is reasonable ! Only con is that it’s so dark! I don’t like dark places cause i love to eat in a lot place but that doesn’t bother me much here, food is worth it! We have not had the shabu shabu! The sushi rolls we had and appetizer are our favorite! This restaurant is very clean and has a great family or couple atmosphere. We will continue to come here for our sushi craving unless the service and food changes this is our new favorite sushi spot ! I would recommend!

I have no idea what the low ratings are about, this place has amazing food, had the boyfriend and the girlfriend rolls, my man had Kung fu panda roll and they were HUGE and delicious! For appetizers we had miso soups and egg rolls, absolutely fantastic!!
The restaurant itself it’s very clean and the service was great, we had our baby with us, very accommodating. We have nothing other than praise for this place and will be coming back!

It was good. Nice, quiet environment. The gyoza is steamed to perfection. The fish was fresh and clean tasting. The price was a little high but that’s par for the course for Anchorage so I can’t hold it against them.

I was in serious need of a sushi fix and this place absolutely hit it out of the park! One of the standout features is that they’re open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays — such a rare find for great sushi with late hours.

From the moment we walked in, the service was excellent. The staff was friendly, attentive, and quick to refill our waters without even being asked. The food came out quickly and was beautifully presented, showing real attention to detail.

We ordered sushi, gyoza, and fried rice — every single dish was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The sushi in particular really satisfied the craving, and the portions were just right.

This spot is the spot to go if you’re looking for delicious sushi, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere, especially when most other places are already closed. Highly recommend!

Got the small hot pot and the uni today, hot pot was $70 and the uni (2 pieces) was $20. The food is decent, the hot pot broth is definitely a veggie broth, heavy cabbage flavors, not much else flavor until you dress it up yourself. The sauce bar wasn’t full stocked and in the almost 2hrs of us being there no one added fixed that problem. Also had to repeatedly ask for water, the entire time we were there our glasses were empty.

I’m writing this review because in the 15 minutes it took me to get home the to-go container that held my leftover hot pot broke. It’s a $70 soup that was completely wasted due to cheap paper to-go bowls. I’m so disappointed and I hope this establishment will make this right.

Checked out Sushi Motto on Christmas Day and tried the hot pot for the first time. The portions were huge and much larger than expected. With four people we did the large size per person and took home lots of leftovers as well. It was fun to cook everything right on the table and eat it fresh. Broth could use a little more flavor and service was pretty slow considering it wasn’t very busy but it was still a great overall experience.

Best sushi and ramen we’ve found since leaving Japan!! Didn’t get a pic of the ramen but it was amazing. We can’t wait to come back to try their other rolls/dishes!

An incredible spot offering a wide array of fresh nigiri, rolls, and Japanese cuisine. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here, savoring every delightful dish. While the server was a bit slow to provide menus and there was a slight wait for all the dishes to arrive, their friendliness and kindness made up for it. I highly recommend visiting with a large group of family or friends to soak in the fantastic atmosphere. The authenticity and quality of the food were outstanding, and the prices were reasonable. Overall, a fantastic dining experience! Yum yummmm推推!
