I recently brought my friend to try Sushi Mori’s new Kanlapaphruek branch, and although I don’t eat beef myself, I was really impressed by the quality and variety of their menu.
My friend tried the Wagyu Kansai Sukiyaki, made with A5-grade Kagoshima beef, and said it was incredibly tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It’s definitely a must-try for beef lovers!
As for me, I went with their Yinyang Tama Roll—a rich and creamy combination of tamago, foie gras, and truffle, which was absolutely delicious. I also enjoyed the Aburi Set, Shirauo Salad, and Chirashi Don—fresh, satisfying, and well-balanced.
The ambiance is cozy, service is attentive, and parking is available. Whether you eat beef or not, there’s something here for everyone. A great spot for quality Japanese food lovers!
This place has a price tag, but the food with its quality along with the fresh taste makes it all worth while. We had the Salmon Don, two different style of Salmon rolls, Katsu Curry, Salmon Salad. Braised pork with rice, and so much more.
They had a good amount of parking along with really nice restrooms, and a small play area in the back for children.
The proportions are on the larger side. Ordered a Ju don and the fish was cut into fairly large pieces. I prefer bite size and there was way too much rice but I don’t eat much. Overall food and was good. Service was excellent. The servers were attentive asked about our meal. They refilled my green tea 5x and quite often.
Good lighting. Ambience is decent. It was a very hot day 34C but it felt rather warm indoors. Cute Japanese like display but not upscale. Offers free soft drink if you leave review. Not verified.
Large private room available.
There is handicap accessible ramp to enter the restaurant. The toilets are located in the back of the restaurant via a sliding door. Toilet stalls are a bit tight which doesn’t seem handicap friendly.
Good amount of parking but only a part is covered.
There is an outdoor children’s playground by the toilet. Not covered so it’s super sunny during the day.
Overall food and service was good. The price is not cheap but for the amount of fish and portions it’s decent. Would only return if we were in the area.
I came for the omakase course, and I was not disappointed. The chef is very friendly, polite, and explains every course with explicit detail. I might sound corny here, but I left full of both delicious food and new knowledge. Their signature eel sandwiches are unique and very flavorful.
I would like to recommend this place to any quality Japanese food enjoyer.
