Honestly the sushi at sushi monster always taste good but it’s not good sushi. One thing I can always count on here is for it to fall apart as soon as it hits the chop sticks. It never holds and then at the end of your meal it’s just a mix of different rolls because everything fell out. I can’t say I’m disappointed because I expect nothing less. The flavors are there I guess the pressures of the rush they half do there meals. I also ordered fried rice and they gave me white rice with vegetables and forgot the sauce. Just overall need to do better.

We go here all the time, each time is pretty good! My biggest issue is they don’t pack their rice tight enough, so your sushi falls apart before you can get it in your mouth, I’ve told them this everytime I’m there but today it was even worse! It will make me choose other places for this one reason, my eel had a big fat chewy piece on it making it not enjoyable!

I would definitely return. The sushi was incredible and worth the wait and price. We waited about 15-20 minutes for a table for Tuesday night. The service was great but the sushi was even better.

This was my third time here. I unfortunately forgot why I don’t come here more often, it had been at least two years. I was reminded today, the sushi is just not that good. We came for dinner. Got the edamame, gyoza. Those tasted fine. We got three popular rolls that came recommended by the server. Every roll tasted off. The blend of flavors seemed to be mushy. One roll had tempura shrimp, but there was no crunch or even any semblance that it was fried. I was hoping that there would be another restaurant for us to go to besides twigs in the area being locals. I wouldn’t recommend going here. The prices were also high in my opinion.

One of the best sushi experiences we have had. Great sushi and a great experience. Tasty food, attentive servers and staff, and adaptable to small changes to a menu item.

Kid friendly with fast service.

Ive been here a few times and always verbally recommended then but never actually left a review. But I just orderd a pickup and, despite the long wait time(Its a holiday so no wonder), their service is always kind and theyve never ever gotten an order of mine wrong. The food itself is really good quality and a decent price. I want to, and also encourage others, to remember that just because its a holiday doesnt mean you are more deserving of kindness then they are. Thank you Sushi Monster staff for handling the valentine’s rush with kindness and empathy!!

Fascinating… I am only used to eating at sushi restaurants in Manhattan NYC and Sushi Monster is a sharp contrast to me, an Americanized version, with giant rolls drenched in sauces, often sweetened and over stuffed with ingredients with many fried ingredients as options. That said, if you think of this as a different cuisine than real Japanese food, I found it enjoyable and the ingredients appear fresh. We had the summer roll and rainbow roll amongst others.

First time there with a seasoned visitor. Even she was disappointed. The deep fried rolls were too big around. The dynamite roll was not good at all. It was very fishy in taste, which sounds weird, but I eat a lot of sushi, and it is never like that. It was just mediocre at best. My friend usually loves this place, so I’m not sure what was “off” today.

sushi monster is a classic place to get a quick bite with friends. we (group of 4) came into the restaurant at 4:00 and were seated immediately. i got two orders of nigiri for a total of two sweet egg nigiri and two salmon nigiri. the salmon nigiri was fine- the salmon itself was chewy and room temperature which made for a rather unpleasant eating experience and I could only eat one piece. the sweet egg, however, was delicious! it was cool (in temperature, that is) and a perfect amount of sweetness that didn’t overwhelm my palette. if you’re coming here, be sure to ask for a cup of miso soup- complementary upon request! the service was wonderful- we were being attended to in a way that was constant but not in a manner that was too intense. overall, a good spot to hit if you’re craving a good quick and easy bite, but not the spot to hit if you want sushi that’ll make you go “wow”.
