Truly top notch sushi and service. It’s not often you can get a torches Wagyu sushi. The sushi chef really knows what he’s doing here. These guys attend to you swiftly and get the food out even quicker once you are seated. Amazing atmosphere, great lighting, nice energy and great bar selection as well. Be sure to ask for the secret special appetizers… Can’t wait to visit again when I am back in Chicago.

Sushi here was done exceptionally well. The interior of the place is very nice and is very comfortable. We had a variety of different rolls and all of them were creative and delicious. I recommend this as a go-to place for a nice evening out for sushi.

Delicious! Sushi is so fresh. Always a hit. The spicy lunch platter is huge. You get salmon, tuna and California rolls. You also get a miso soup and salad starter. Be prepared to take some home. A little pricey, but worth it to splurge every so often.

Where to start…I had a wonderful experience from beginning to end. The space is contemporary with a cool asthetic. They played some indie music that was at the perfect volume. The server was kind and attentive. The food was fantastic. I went during happy hour and tried the sweet potato roll and shrimp tempura roll. I never knew how flavorful a sweet potato could be until now. The shrimp tempura roll was a delicious treat as well. I got the chicken donburi as the main course and it too was amazing. The price is fair (especially during happy hour) and you should definitely make your way here if you can.

Wow. Just amazing! Some of the best sushi I have ever had. Priced right – a red flag if sushi is cheap. Great 1st date place or romantic dinner with the spouse. The presentation of the food is just stunning. The pic I include doesn’t even do it justice. A very nice dinning experience. Will be back for sure.

From the sublime to the delicious. Why clog you arteries with grease, churn you intestines with dairy, break out in hives with gluten? Why settle for quasi-food products harvested on factory farms, why settle for the bland, the homogeneous dreck served up at franchise outlets? Why not delight the eye with the artistry of Japanese preparation, and nourish the brain with the omega 3 fatty acids of cold water fish, instead of generating destructive free radicals and oxidative species with ‘grub.’ And why settle for restaurants which blare deafening music in order to stifle conversation, deadened taste buds, and turn tables? Why settle for distracted, churlish waiters when you can have attentive, personal, and informed able side service? In other words, forget the burgers and the tacos and the pizza, and check this sublime restaurant out.

Reliably the best sushi around. I love getting the chef’s choice variety dishes and seeing what comes out. Love the mood lighting in early evening. Wait staff is hit or miss – some are great, but the ones that aren’t kinda stick out since the food and atmosphere are so good.
