Reviews
All my rolls were smothered in a thick blanket of overly-wet rice that barely qualified as sushi rice. My 49er Roll was no longer adorned with paper-thin slices of delicate lemon for that tangy hit of citrus. Rather, nearly 1/4” thick slices of bitter and unripe lemon now adorned my favorite roll.
Staff are amazing. The quantity of food is high. The quality has declined a lot… I am very sad to say that I will not return here again.
It is of note that they have always been packed; it was barely occupied this visit.
Waitress didn’t place our order for our 3rd roll. When we questioned her, she said we didn’t tell here when we in fact did.

Server again forgot a roll. It was actually our 1st roll we ordered of the 4. Food was fantastic as usual.
The food has been consistently good. I’ve tried a couple of different hand rolls, nigiri and sashimi. If you dine in, you also get complimentary soup and salad. The only real downside is the location. It’s in a narrow little strip mall and a bit difficult to navigate in my truck. You can park just down the street at Walgreens for easier access.
Place is not noticeable from the Monument and overall outside kinda dull. Once you get in, please interior is so-so, although the place was packed on Sunday after 5 PM. We’ve ordered to-go two rolls, and if first person greeted us with strong accent and inability to market the menu, second person picked it up and was able to walk us through the menu, suggest exactly what we need it and surprisingly food was ready in less than 10 minutes. Great service and we really enjoyed our choice of Dragon and Do n’t Ask Rolls. Will definitely be back to experience more delicious Japanese cuisine.
Thank you.
Food: ugh, super tastey and fresh ingredients. I also think they have a wide variety of sushi and plates. They are also very generous:)
Price: its fair. I mean, its actually really good if you order plenty since they also provide a decent amount of food con the house”.
We were very hungry and this ruined it for me and my wife. When I asked about the small sushi roll (6 very skinny pieces), the waitress replied, “You’re the last customer” 45 minutes before closing.
Please train your night staff better, I want to come back, as we’ve been coming here for years.
Popular lunch item is the Hwe Dup Bab (Korean-style Chirashi or raw fish bibimbap – smaller pieces of sashimi over a huge fresh mixed green salad with short grain rice under the bottom. Very healthy and filling all at the same time. It kinda like a poke bowl too with lots of veggies.
Table service is friendly, but getting your meal can be slow because how busy and crowded this place can get in terms of a very busy kitchen and with only 2 sushi chefs.
Free parking lot, but it can be full and the spaces are tight.
Kid friendly. They do have high chairs.
9/30/2017 Update: Ask to see if they have uni, not always on the menu. Uni portion is generous for nigiri sushi. Same with deep fried fresh oysters, taste like eating crunchy katsu. Ten Zaru Soba (cold soba with mixed tempura) was delicious. Soba cold just right.
