What an awesome lunch I had today! My server Riko was very attentive and super friendly. She also gave me some great recommendations of things to try. The place is in the Stix Asian Market, with plenty of seating available.
I opted to go for the Nigiri Dinner Seto which was spectacular! Each bite tasted perfect, and the miso soup was also really good. I highly recommend going there as you wont be disappointed! Arigato!!

9 was amazing. Salmon sashimi was must order was so soft grabbing it was hard. Unagis were great including eel and scallops. Tuna was good but less amazing than salmon. Grilled salmon nigiri was pretty good. Some of the best fish I’ve had and the value is insane

Delicious, high quality sushi! My family and I visited on their first night in Waikiki and we were all impressed by the quality of the fish and the cleanliness of the restaurant. We mostly tried different nigiri sets and thought everything we had was delicious. My personal favorite nigiri, hamachi (yellowtail) was really great here and I ended up ordering many pieces because it was so tasty. The slices were thick and the quality was far above average. I also enjoyed the maguro, unagi, salmon, and everything else we tried. If you’re looking for good nigiri in Waikiki, Sushi Matsuri is a good stop!

My wife and I loved Sushi Matsuri so much that we went there four times during our seven day vacation. The quality and value just can’t be beat in Hawaii. If you get there early enough during the weekdays, they have a $10 nigiri special that may well be the best deal on Oahu. Also, the Ottoro nigiri was melt in your mouth AMAZING. The location isn’t much, but when you taste quality fish like we did, for the price we paid, you won’t mind. Can’t recommend this place enough. Already looking forward to going back. Also, look for the coupon in Oahu’s best coupon book.

We had an absolutely fantastic dining experience at this sushi restaurant! The food was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented, every bite was a delight. The variety of sushi, including the perfectly prepared nigiri and creative rolls, was impressive, and the takoyaki and eel dishes were standout favorites. The service was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff who made us feel right at home.
