Sushi Masa is an absolute must in Campbell!!! The restaurant has a warm, welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home the moment you walk in. The sushi is no doubt the best in town, in my very demanding taste, and some of the best in the Bay Area. Every roll is fresh and flavorful, but the Ninja Roll is the real standout, don’t leave without trying it!
The service is exceptional. The lady who helped us was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the rest of the staff were just as kind. Sushi Masa truly feels like a little piece of Japan in Campbell.

The salmon skin hand roll was bland, and the sweet shrimp wasn’t very sweet. I told them to take the sweet shrimp off the order because it looked underwhelming and droopy. In my opinion, it didn’t really seem worth the price they were charging for it. I mean, if I am paying market price for some shrimp it better not look droopy and watery. They wouldn’t even refund me for this mistake and are being stingy.
Some pros: The spicy tuna rolls were good.
Some cons: Expensive, poor/lack of service, likes ripping people off.
Final thoughts: I don’t recommend this place, and won’t be back.

We had a fantastic sushi experience. Definitely recommend.
The place had a great atmosphere, lots of parking, within the restaurant. They had a lot of cool different areas which I assumed you could reserve if you wanted a special spot. The sushi bar looked really fun to sit at, we ended up sitting at a table cuz it was four of us. Great service, attentive staff, the menu was huge and had a vared amount of vegetarian options as well. Most rolls were 17$ and up so it’s not a cheap sushi place. Meals were 20$ and up.

Unfortunately, this was a disappointing experience. The food itself was just okay, but the service was very poor — our dishes took an unusually long time to arrive even though the restaurant was nearly empty. For the high prices, I expected much better.
The space is extremely outdated, and the booth we were seated in was mostly ripped and literally covered with T-shirts, which was honestly pretty gross. The whole place had an unpleasant smell as well. Overall, it just didn’t feel clean or well cared for.
Definitely not planning to return.

Love this place. I’ve been going here for years now since i first found it. Staff is great, friendly, and attentive. Great selection of appetizers, rolls, and main dishes. Good portion sizes.

After spending over $40 for entrée, I am hungry! Desserts were unevenly portioned big and small ice cream that was explained to us, small ones come with the meal hence they are small portions and the bigger portions are the ones we paid which costs $4/each (must have costs no more than 40¢ and paid their server maybe $1 to put it into little bowls, which they should really consider if it is worth it to make their customers feel Sushi Masa is stingy portions restaurant but not that great)!

Pros: spacious, you have the choice of table or floor seating, food is good, drink size is good
Cons: there is one server (a tall guy) that is always rushing customers and each time has made everyone in the group uncomfortable by not giving enough time to choose and order and buy rushing us to finish food! some servers are not very attentive, food size is on the small side, fried ice cream is not 4 pieces; it’s one fried ice cream cut into 4 pieces!

Definitely one of my top 5 Japanese restaurants in San Jose! After being stationed in Japan for two years I miss and crave the authenticity of Japanese culture & Sushi Masa definitely delivers. The food is delicious, a great sake variety, the staff is all very kind and warm and friendly! You get greeted as soon as you walk in by all the staff and thanked the same way before leaving which is something else I miss from the country. The decor makes me feel like I’m back at my local restaurant in town in Okinawa. Faith was an excellent server! We will be back soon!
